Ha ha, kind of like in the Droid "Torture" chamber in Jabba's palace. When that Gonk droid is getting his feet burned you see jets of steam shooting up from his feet in places the branding iron or whatever it is isn't even touching. My eyes go right to that every time.

Same with the end of Temple of Doom when Indy and Willie are about to kiss but the elephant splash comes a split second too late. If you watch Ford he has to stop himself from kissing her and starts to flinch before the water even comes into frame.

It's called a Power Droid. Also thanks for ruining Temple of Doom. Khev, pissing on movie magic since May of 2006.

I remember noticing the droid torture scene when I was pretty young. Never really bothered me though... or I guess it bothers me less than the idea that Gonk droids also feel pain

Speaking of Power Droid, I crack up every time he runs from the Jawas when they open the doors to pick which droids to display for Owen.

I always noticed that scene of the droid torture. It felt/feels so cheap, like a Disney ride animatronic on a loop.

I always wondered about that. I saw that the first time I ever saw the movie. I wouldn't mind if they fixed that.

Very little... Dorgs isnt' about making money off of stuff so I just bought some of the 12" Kenner Droids for him and sent them off as trade. Probably total cost of around $50 or $60.

I think that's fair... I did refer to my Pruneface custom as Orimaarko when I started the thread. I was just trying to be thorough and had never known him to have a different name; but I've mostly learned from my transgressions
