Yeah, a red saber would have been cool... but I guess keeping the blue made it easier to have Kenobi pick it up at the end.

I liked both sabers being blue since there was already so much red/orange on Mustafar itself and also that it set apart the Anakin/Obi-Wan duel as the only one in the saga that didn't feature a red saber. It added to the "wrongness" of two good friends battling each other.

Did Grievous use a Red saber against Obi-Wan?

Thanks, I think that might have redeemed you for the ealier "you could use a good kiss" debaucle :lecture

Now I have to tell my brother I was wrong about that one; I guess we can be happy Lucas didn't go that crazy yet :lol

For all those who wanted Lucasfilm to get a message...looks like it didn't work:

"Seems like the angry fans who protested the changes to the Star Wars trilogy by boycotting the Blu-ray release didn't have much of an affect on its sales. Lucasfilm and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment wasted no time getting out a press release touting the fact that just one week after its release, Star Wars: The Complete Saga has quickly become the number-one pre-order and number-one Blu-ray catalog title of all time."

Just watched the Phantom Menace on Blu....PQ was about avg. for Bluray. However, I almost turned it off. Forgot how bad this movie was. Jar Jar is a killer.

George may have created Star Wars, but to me there is so much better material made from it by others.

I just watched the opening cinematic of The Old Republic, it was amazing, easily beats any lightsaber battle done so far, and as fans of Knights of The Old Republic know it can have deep story too.

The force unleashed was awesome, and was made better than Ep 1 & 2 combined, even the Clone Wars series is much better than them.

Face the facts Geroge sucks, he ignores good material to include pointless humour and doofy characters.

70% of Star Wars material was not done by goerge and is better for it, he just says yes and no to details.

I watched Episode I with my son on blu-ray last week and it was the most enjoyable viewing I have ever had of that film. It was neat to see him relate to Anakin when he turned to me and told me how he'd never want to leave his home during that scene. And you know what? Jar Jar is pretty cool when you turn off your jaded inner fan boy and just enjoy the film in the proper context.

Is the UK and US release different?

I saw an unboxing on ign that has the boxset as a carded book that the discs on each page slide out of, where as on UK site it looks like a book but on cheap clear blue plastic that the discs click into. :dunno
