I will say I do at least appreciate Leslie being very professional by keeping her personal opinions very vague and veiled within her dialogue, for instance…

Mae/Osha’s Mother: “The white male christian order are evil.”

or

Horned Mother: “We have to hide in this galaxy because men of all type will never accept us!”

or

Little Mae: “White men suck hell all men suck don’t go with them Osha!”

Quality writing Leslie congrats :duff

"And what happens if the Jedi discover how you created them?"

After only watching 1 & 3, this is the only line I give two ***** about, because I want to hear what their explanation is.

If it is as Palpatine said about Plagueis - whoever greenlit that decision should be sacked immediately. Surely it's not. Surely they're going to try and pull another "thread" maneuver, just to further piss on the dried up dead corpse that is SW...
It was probably the Sith that destroyed the coven.

They were probably experimenting on the Sith’s behalf and then took an opportunity to blame the massacre on the Jedi (which is probably what they told Mae) once they were no longer useful.

From what we know so far probably safe to assume the twins are the testing ground for what Anakin will be.

Mando season 1&2s best parts are probably better than AOTC and ROTS but I am not as interested in the characters or the time period.
Well, there you have it... I personally love the Mandalorian's main characters, and it's also the only time period I've ever wanted to see fleshed out in Star Wars ever since the OT ended. Good to hear you're still recognizing the strengths of this series when compared to the PT

When I read that, I thought, that might be cool. But - off memory - don't the PT Jedi say something about there hasn't been Sith for a millennia? Something to that effect?

Not that it matters anymore, SW hasn't had any level of consistency since the PT ("I don't seem to remember ever owning a droid. Very interesting").

I actually do. I think Mando S1&2 are overrated. For every decent episode there was a blah one
Well, considering you weren't really invested in the characters or the time period, that's not very surprising. I'd argue even the worst chapters of Mando s.1 & 2 were surprisingly solid, not to mention highly entertaining. As far as the "blah" parts, I believe they were quite few and fairly evenly sprinkled out over the first two seasons. At least the cringier characters were virtual nobodies, like the "Mech Lady" and the "Blue Guy" (They're pretty much the equivalents of C3PO/R2 and the Ewoks in the OT). Much unlike the prequels, where Lucas managed to destroy both Vader, the Emperor and the Force itself (with one swift stroke), while simultaneously introducing Jar-Jar Binks and the "Froggy Bunch". The levels of damage done to SW in this show are not even comparable in my book...

What!

My favorite parts of the PT movies involved Ahsoka and the seismic Republic battle with the Mandalorians!

Disney doing damage control whipping out the well loved Hayden and Rosario for an interview even though Ahsoka is not the current show out lol

Yup time to hide the 2 idiots known as Lesley and Stenberg lol

Boy do I love Rosario in more ways than one :monkey1

I’m sure in a messed up Hollywood way of thinking they probably view Acolyte as a huge success because of the massive discussions taking place about it over everything else.

I mean look at Furiosa a freaking great movie that has completely disappeared off the radar, sigh.

Hollywood above all else enjoys attention. Attention = Money.

This is disappointing. The only movement on Rotten Tomatoes is the Critics rating dropping 1%.

Has the Audience taken the weekend off to give Disney a break?

The IMDB breakdown is looking good though:

I guess it doesn't really matter to Disney, but I'm never going to see Acolyte. Furiosa I will. It will also probably become something I view rather regularly; like FR. I'm not their target demographic, so they don't care.
Hell, I don't watch the OT SW due to the Lucas' added crap.

They either all die or they orchestrate a coverup to “‘maintain peace” or whatever. That’s my best guess.

I have an RT account with a verified email and have reviewed movies before but it doesn’t allow me to add a review for Crapolyte! :gah:

I need to add my thumbs down!
