Poor man has lost his fedora again.

Are you incapable of explaining your opinions or do you just laugh at others?
The claims you make are so outrageously silly I don't feel it's worth it to "explain" why they're wrong. You're trying to pick a fight with anyone who doesn't like the prequels or Terminator: Genisys...what more needs to be said?

Out of all the mistakes they made with Anakin in the prequels, that "NOOO!" was one the most awkward and out-of-character. It was corny to the point of being comical and embarrassing. It's just more cringe-worthy prequel garbage, simple as that. I figure anyone with common sense can see that.

Luke's "NOOO!" was far more realistic and emotional. It felt like a natural reaction and it wasn't dragged out for what seemed like an eternity with Vader's. It wasn't perfect acting by any means, but it was believable - especially considering the circumstances - losing his arm and learning that Vader is his father.

I'll take it over anonymous SSF member who likes the prequel trilogy and Terminator Genysis...no offence, seriously. :)

So, mentioning I like Genysis once is bad? Then asking why others hated it. This is now bad and worth bringing up? Never defended the movie either... just said I liked it as a casual fan.

******** stupid. It really is ******** stupid.

He WAS until the prequels came along and gave us this:

Anyone who bothers to take the time to do that has serious issues (and not just with the prequels!)

Oh, and ROTJ gave us a "conflicted" Vader, not just pure evil. Pure evil is scarier but less interesting.

ROTS showed us the source of that conflict, he fought his dark impulses right up till the last, and was still a reluctant convert to the Sith.

Yeah, whoever made that video had a lot of time on their hands. :p

They said he was conflicted, but I never really saw it until the very end. Would've been nice to have some action behind it. Show, don't tell.

ROTS did show him fighting the dark but once he gave in, he went full ham. "You are now Darth...Vader. Now go murder small children, I mean younglings." "You got it, boss" I think if one of the kids had taken a swipe at him with a lightsaber by accident and pissed him off, so he killed all of them, would've been a better way to show that he didn't just become a murdering psycho 10 seconds after pledging loyalty to the Emperor.

Don't waste your time on him man, I just reported him for similar trolling behaviour on another thread. He's just trying to cause trouble. Dissing peoples opinions.

No, it's not bad, those were just examples of films that in your opinion were good...or at least enjoyable. I'm merely providing a fact regarding your taste in film compared to that of the AFI, since you don't think much of the opinion of an organization that educates filmmakers and honors the heritage of the moving picture arts. Your initial comment was that something was not "debatable," and I provided a different opinion (AFI), which you deemed worthless. All I said was that I lean towards the AFI's opinion. :)

Excited is an understatement.

I don't expect this movie to recreate 1977-1983. If you didn't see those in the theater you wouldn't understand. There's no way it can it's not possible. What this movie CAN do is become an acceptable sequel to the originals we all love. And if it does ONLY that, i will be more than satisfied.

(But i think were in for a little more):)

I'm with you on this. :rock

Unfortunately, it was ROTJ, so we got the "tell, don't show" version of this. Luke says he can sense the good, but we never see Vader do anything out of character, like question the emperor. It's not until Luke is getting run through the bugzapper that he finally steps up and acts. It would have been nice to actually see some conflict, instead of Luke just saying he can sense it.

Vader spares Piett in ESB. Great foreshadowing of his redemption in my opinion. He also spared Luke in that fight. Her could have easily killed him. I think they did a decent enough job for a fairy tale story to show the villain's conflict? Could it have been better? Perhaps. But it's good enough. Even with RotJ being the weakest of the OT, Vader's redemption is my favorite scene of the whole saga.

Those are good points, but I think Vader spared Luke because he wanted to turn him. Luke was willing to kill himself rather than join Vader after the revelation. There's no way he could have been sure that he wouldn't die from that fall. The trick would have been to see what would have happened if Luke didn't jump. Vader knew he could've killed Luke at any time during that fight, it was like he was toying with him but he didn't want to kill him without giving him the chance to be converted.

These are just nits to pick and fun to talk about. ROTJ is the weakest only because the other two are incredible. :)
