I think it's as much of an illusion as physical copies, it's just a different place the data is stored in. Because that's the only thing you're owning, the disc

Yep it's the standard (non-retailer exclusive) release.

I doubt they would make a "point" with a gay character.
If there is one it would be open to interpretation rather than an "explicit" piece of scripting.
They are just being PC at the moment IMO.
I get a laugh out of the Finn/Poe stuff though.

Nah, not the same thing at all. They are not doing that to be PC, they have a female comedy group and director from a smash hit comedy and it fitted the ghostbusters mold. Don't forget the original ghostbusters was a SNL *spin off* comedy.

And it's it's pretty obvious it's not trying to be PC over the hilarious racist comments it's getting about its *token* black character.

I've gone fully digital too, but keep the discs as a master copy/backup (or display piece in the case of the ones that come with statues etc).

The whole gay thing got blown out of proportion when JJ was *asked* whether there were gays in the SW galaxy.

He said "sure", then suddenly the headlines were "JJ wants gay SW character".

While I do have a Vudu digital collection that I use when away from home and to share; I have the actual blu-ray discs that I use at home.

Digital copies are fine but I prefer having something tangible whether it be a blu-ray, CD or book. There's no illusion in that for me.
