Bwhahahahaaahaha! That is such a cool find.

I'd be willing to take the chance. They still probably couldn't be worse than what we got if they tried.

As Nam said, no point talking about it though. Won't happen.

Yessir and man have they've been secretive, not even a photo of real prop or of a set nothing.

Was that R2-D2 a movie prop? Fans built the R2 for this movie supposedly and JJ Abrams was standing with them and R2.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Regardless, who cares? It's R2. We already knew he'd look the same as in the other films. I know a lot of folks aren't a fan of it, but I love movies shrouded in mystery. I'm sure we'll see some things here and there eventually but it will likely be released on Disney's/LFL's/JJ's terms. The returning cast will be great to see together in or out of costume. The droids will be great to see. The Millenium Falcon would be great to see. The new cast in or out of costume should be introduced slowly without much information other than their character's name or even their role. Remember Natalie Portman was cast as "Young Queen" and Liam Neeson cast as "Jedi Master?"

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

I've been reading Rinzler's excellent Making Return of the Jedi that i got for my birthday..... wow Sir Alec Guinness was certainly a bitter old man. Not that its not a well known fact, but when asked to appear in interviews for Empire of Dreams he wrote in his diary "the Star Wars people have asked me to give an interview. I refused." And described fans as ghastly bore's, i bet he didn't turn down the royalties from those films.

Give me fanboys like Mark Hamill anyday, someone who appreciates the fans....even if he wants an arm and a leg for his autograph :wink1:

James Earl Jones and Carrie Fisher were on Big Bang tonight, that was pretty cool, just makes me realize how much I'm gonna geek seeing the old timers in a new Star Wars.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

I'm sure we'll see Mark, Harrison, and Carrie on the same couch eventually, be it Kimmel or Leno. Maybe one of those Good Morning America things but I'd be shocked if no one gets the 3 of them togeather.
