One day a Star Wars movie might ''flop'' but we're definitely not there yet. Wait till they start pumping them out left right and centre and people get sick of it.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Yeah, I highly doubt these will flop in any way shape or form. I mean, if the prequels--truly bad filmmaking and storytelling--managed to be huge world-wide hits, then Episode VII should do just fine even if it's a big pile of poop.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Yep, no way the first SW film in over a decade flops.

I agree. Though I think people could experience fatigue really soon if Disney sticks to their 1 Star Wars movie a year plan. I love Star Wars, but even to die hard fans I am sure an annual film is too much.

This is going to be the greatest sci-fi film ever :lecture

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Star wars with the original cast members has a ZERO chance of flopping. The spin offs with minor characters on the other hand.......

Don't worry only hardcore fans are paying attention.

Peter Mayhew also reportedly said it will be the best SW film. Exciting to hear so much promise anyways.

Right.

My expectations are kinda high, but not that high so it's good news. (I already have a feeling JJ pulled it off and did what George did not, gonna be a long year wait. Need that teaser! :))

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Anthony Daniels hated the CGI in the prequels. And i never heard him once state he liked the prequels, just that he was excited to be "back in the universe". And if Daniels aint your thang listen to Peter Mayhew.

"The J.J. Abrams-directed Episode VII “will be the best Star Wars film I will have seen"

But no amount of convincing will get to some people, we'll have to wait and see.
