Super Freak
Huh, there was Internet in 98.
Sure it was 56.6, but it was good enough for Star War rumors.
Napster was was the big thing in 98.
Beats the 300 Baud Modem I used to connect my Commodore 64 to Q-Link back in 1989.

No matter how good episode 7 is, no Star Wars movie will every take the place of my first Star Wars experience of watching episode 4 on the big screen in 77! I still consider Empire Strikes Back the best of all 6 but episode 4 will always be special to me.
Yep, I was 7 when ANH hit theaters.... great time to be a kid.

Yeah but how many people had it? Not a lot.
Hope not legit, looks like a videogame.
What? No. Plenty of people had it. How old are you? You don't remember AOL or AIM and Napster? Everyone I went to school with was on AIM.
UPDATE 3!
/Film has even more rumored details about the release date of TFA teaser trailer:I have independently confirmed with good sources that the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer will be shown in a limited number of theaters during the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. I know that there will be a limited amount of theaters participating in the “preview.” I have not confirmed any more details other than that.
I really hope that gif is not legit, like Jye said, it's on video game level.
That gif as been confirmed as fake. Pretty lame anyway.
I'm sure I'm not the average person, but I remember there being plenty of people online discussing what might and might not happen with Episode one. Hell, that's the same year that the Internet was given the credit for making "The Blair Witch Project" such a big hit. So, there were plenty of people online at the time.
Source? Curious.
My point was in relation to now. Now it's a whole other animal. Shyyt moves at lightning speed now, as compared to back then. (Twitter,FB, more online etc.)
