After today's ticket sales, Furious 7 has passed $1 billion, marking the quickest initial rise in box office history.

It took 17 days for Furious 7 to reach the new milestone –– The Avengers, Avatar and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 all crossed the same mark, but it took them 19 days to do so. Furious 7's total global sales are estimated at about $1.009 billion, with $735 million in overseas tickets, and $274 million in North America.

I want to say that SW will blow AOU/Titanic/Avatar box office out of the water.

What the PT did to people's trust keeps me from saying that though. :lol

Who knows, it might be a huge success because of the PT, simply because people prefer not to die knowing that the PT was the last time they saw SW in a movie theater. :lol

I don't know or care if SW or AoU will make more money, I'll be seeing them both. Superman vs. Batman on the other hand... WTF was that that trailer???

I choked up watching that Star Wars trailer. I was eight when Star Wars (just "Star Wars") was released in '77. I feel like I can finally move on from those awful PT films. Better than therapy.

Marvel continues the hit machine. AoU looks great. I'll be there day 1.

Supes vs. Batman made me feel nothing, and I'm a fan of both characters. One of the things MoS actually did right is hire a likeable guy to play Superman, and now he's an ^sshole? Disappointing.

You're probably better off staying out of the BvsS thread. :lol

Wow... still no reply... here I'll type it out to y'all...

WHO FUNDS THE EMPIRE IF THE REBELS WON...

Rebels were patching stuff together with old fighters and etc in the Civil War. You think after 30 years and maybe controlling the banks the *politically correct* FIRST ORDER... would be using old armor and fighters. Patched work Star Destroyers... You know reversed haha on the Empire?
