I was talking to someone who thought an employer had to allow them to be high on the job if they had a medical marijuana prescription. They could not comprehend that the employer had the final word on what state of sobriety they could expect from their employees.

The same person suggested I get a concealed weapons permit for my graveyard shifts. I did not waste my time explaining that weapons were not permitted on property.

It's no different than having to wear the appropriate attire to work. Though that girl will probably never have a job.

Both the girl and her mother seem to think that the school is no different from any other public place. They seem like the type who'd sue if they got thrown out of a store or something for being obnoxious. They think other people are there to serve. I'm sure teachers appreciate that kind of attitude. Nothing like being treated like the servant of spoiled brat.

Again this is the everybody wins mentality at its finest. Breeding entitlement in homes and schools everywhere. Makes me sick.

I've had the privilege of BSing with Weenie for years now on SSF, and I don't think I'd even make a joke like that. :monkey1

hey, you got bills to pay you got to eat right?
a job is a job :dunno
im just saying, that girl will probably end up doing a type of job like that, is what I was saying, specially since this whole t-shirt thing only shows how much she wants to be the center of attention,
that job would probably even fit her well too,

Guess it would depend on whether or not they cut out your tongue after what you said. :lol

Maybe they just pound on your door in the middle of the night, take you in for questioning, detain you for hours, and then return you to your home where you find your office destroyed and all of your hard drives, backups and file cabinets missing.

Double standards masquerading as equality. :lecture

I've lost count of the number of times I had to kick loud, drunken guests out of a hotel because they were keeping other guests awake to all hours. The universal reaction is that they're being persecuted and that they didn't pay $300 to be treated this way.

She got what was coming to her. You can't dress or act certain ways in school without it being an issue but most parents/kids cannot comprehend that at all. If you're willing to act dumb you better be willing to take the punishment if you get caught.

And if you hadn't done some dumb **** deserving that, a judge wouldn't sign off on a search warrant permitting them to do it. :huh

Yeah. Better watch what you say. Someone might not approve.

Don't take that to mean you aren't free to say what you like, though. Being free to say what you like doesn't actually mean you can say whatever you like. If you can't say what you like, you're still free. Just not to say what someone else doesn't like.

So go ahead and say whatever we let you. Talk about some halfwitted, wetbrained, knuckledragging dumb ****.

Lol. That's some truth though. She'd end up being the girl at the office that dresses like she's going to a night club, and smirks when HR sends everybody an email reminding them what the office dress code is.

Awesome. "How dare you treat a paying customer this way! Haven't you heard the customer is always right??"
