Obviously Gentle Giant didn't get the memo.

Ain't that the truth!!!

I feel bad for the retailers who are there looking at all those exclusives and saying, "Thanks a lot, Gentle Giant!!! I can't wait to NOT offer all that stuff to my customers!"

sweet pics

Anakin actually looks good in the second pic! I am still not getting get; too big and too expensive!

First off, the above pictures were great. I might be ignorant because I haven't read the previous pages, but is there a price for this?

EDIT: NM, back read and nothing specific but around $150-$200. I could deal with that

That base looks like it's begging to light up. I'm going to be really disappointed if there's no exclusive version of this.

Color me more impressed with every pic I see.

I agree there, but I was sold from SSC's preview page. As soon as ROTS mania began, I vowed to get my hands on every great piece of Ani-Obi merch I could, between the visuals of all the PT lightsaber duels, the beauty of Mustafar's imagery, and the emotional intensity of the duel, I just can't get enough items capturing that, truly amazing, that's partly why I was so amped when SSC announced Ep3 Obi, I was dissappointed there wasn't a Hasbro to go with their Ani, aside from being dissappointed with the look of Ani, but SSC gave me a great figure of both, and now a great sculpture of both, throw in some PF's and legendary busts now and I'll be a happy guy :)

I'm with ya on that. ROTS is one of my fave SW movies and this battle really shows the sadness of Anakins fall to the Dark Side.

i finally realized the thing that's making obi tip back so much is that his left foot should be right at the back edge of the platform. it got shifted through the day, I think.

Gotcha! Awesome work Trev. I'm in for this. Definitely one of the highlights of the show.

Well, the more I look at my Luke and Yoda ex PF the more I love it... this piece is really great IMO... I don't understand why somebody dislike it and says It's not worth it... anyways to remain faithful to the thread I have just said that this diorama is fantastic and I really expected the price point to be 280 dollars as this is huge and really well done.

im sorry anakin1138,i was only using luke/yoda as an example.a dio is worth 2 stand alone pf's in my opinion....my personal opinion.

I was wondering about Obi-Wan's lean. Thanks for clearing that up.

Regardless of the price, I'm also liking this more and more as more pictures come up.

this is a class piece...no doubt about it:monkey5

I think that a lot of us had the small Frodo VS. Gollum diorama in mind when we heard about this. I for one didn't think it would be as large as this--particularly the base. Considering the size, I would say that this is an acceptable price, in line with other VS. dioramas of this size.
