I only ask as I will be at work at the time it will roughly be up at & need to know if I have to be around a computer with internet access.

We're still in the planning stages for our new line of Star Wars dioramas, and the number of releases will rely on many factors, including sales and fan reaction. Right now, we envision about 3 to 4 releases per year to be a good target for this line, including 'versus' conflicts as well as environments.

Environments can be anything, there are a great number of moments that could make nice dioramas that aren't versus or confrontational moments.

I just thought of another one I'd love to see, Obi-Wan staring back at Beru and Owen with Luke after delivering him and heading off into exile, that'd be beautiful.

The designs for the Star Wars 'Versus' dioramas were drawn from the most dynamic and dramatic confrontations in the films, and the environments will seek to capture some of the Star Wars Saga's vast landscapes, immense creatures and varied locations - but in a reasonable size that collectors can display on a desktop or hang on a wall. The size and scale will vary, but most of the 'Versus' dioramas will be in approximately 1:9 scale. The Star Wars 'Versus' environments will vary greatly in size and scale.

I am actually more interested in seeing the VS. environments than the dioramas. It sounds like there will be a ton more variety with them--more than one scale, size, and format. Even wall hangings. I never picked up any of the LOTR wall plaques, but it will be interesting to see what materializes in the Star Wars line.

With all of these options between the dioramas and environments, 3 or 4 releases a year means that this line will stay interesting for a long time.

Oh how I wish I was still a child/teenager who was content with and stuck with Hasbro collecting and only dreaming of such beautiful high end pieces, life was simpler back in those days lol. I tell ya, I don't consider myself a greedy man, at least not anymore, but it would be so fun to be able to afford all of these things, if it were possible I'd have a setup like Steve Sansweet, buy a house with another house right next to it, I could have rooms dedicated to each manufacturer (Hasbro, MR, GG, SSC), how cool would that be to have company over and be like this is the Sideshow Collectibles room...you may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.

Yeah, this could be interesting. Outside of 4-5 events overall I will not get too many of these especially at the price level of this one. If they do plaques that will be cool and I'm interested to see how they pull this off.
