Totally agree and I don't think anyone is trying to argue...but debate what's being said.

This is what I hear...the side that likes the statue can see some faults but are happy with the overall design of the statue. That seems pretty fair in that it recognizes the good and bad in the statue.

The side that doesn't like his head sculpt think it looks NOTHING like arnold. Just from a logical standpoint the "looks nothing like him" is a much more drastic claim that doesn't recognize any good at all in the statue. There is obviously a HUGE gap in between the two thoughts so everyone sharing their thoughts are purely that.

I know what I think and nothing anyone else says is going to alter my perspective same vice versa for others so we can all feel/say what we want and it shouldn't bother anyone else because we aren't all the same. Just be respectful of others opinions at the same time obviously.

Well said, I guess I can see what you mean by "It looks nothing like him" and to say it looks nothing like him is not accurate on my part. Let me rephrase, it does resemble Arnold, but for $350 it does not resemble him enough.

Plenty of sideshow pieces that I LOVE and think they look exactly how they are supposed to look. I do not just randomly hate on sideshow pieces to poke fun at them. It takes a big screw up for my to dis something sideshow puts out because I have a lot of respect for the company. Its just an opinion that I posted about how I feel about the face sculpt. I have not read this thread but I have to assume many people agree with me just by your post's alone. I think true terminator fans won't care so much but if someone wants $350 worth of accuracy in the face, I think they are SOL with this piece if the prototype looks anything like this.

This PF looks like Arnie...no it does not, it looks like his stunt double....no, no, it looks like Kurt Russel.....no, I think it is spot on.....the best likeness ever.....no......it does look like Arnold but from Terminator 2....maybe.....I think it looks like Brian Thompson......wait....it looks like a chipmunk.....he has chipmunk cheeks.......no...looks nothing like Arnie........I think we need more pictures....this is no Rambo you know.......I think it looks amazing......but I also think it looks horrible....Hot Toys one is so much better........He actually looks like Brian Bozworth....but if you closely, he has Joe Pesci's wig...........I love it..........I hate it......Sideshow sucks big time......how could you do this????? his is definitely the best Arnold from T-1 ever........I'm not impressed.....why can he look like Conan PF.....or a younger T-2.......or even like his own mechanical head from the movie......the likeness is off.......the likeness is awesome.......the hair is really off......I'm disappointed........I'm very happy with it.....best representation to date....pant color is off.....nose too small....glasses are not as square.....glasses are too big.....hair looks great......Damage eye light up....no it does not....that is great.......Sideshow is deceiving us...Sideshow did a great job.....yeah, definitely Kurt Russell....... no, no.....it looks like the stunt double for Brian Bozworth from far away..........I'm ordering for sure.....easy pass.......I'm on the fence........I ordered but I'm not keeping it......I'm selling my T-2........I ordered and I canceled after looking at the HD photos........I ordered after seeing it the HD photos.......This is the worst PF ever........where the ____ are his eyebrows?????

Wow that is a whole lot of dislike for this statue. I went back and read some of the hate this one has been getting and I just don't see it. I mean sure it doesn't look EXACTLY like him but jeeez it's pretty damn close. That said there is an easy fix and its buy it if you like it and don't if you don't.

Its not always that simple, mate. Sometimes you like a piece but certain features or non-features take away just enough from it to instill doubt as to whether $324.99 excluding customs and shipping fees (in my case) isn't too much to pay. If the likeness was dead-on, it'll have been an easy buy for me and I'm guessing for many others. If on the other hand the whole statue--pose, look of materials, certain features etc--was plain wack, then it would also have been an easy pass.

I'm sure we all have pieces we ordered on impulse; pieces we totally ignored; and pieces we mulled over and ended up buying or not.

Point is, it's not always as black and white as your post makes it out to be. I'm still on the fence for this piece. And I shouldn't be, as a huge fan.

I hate to even say it but I showed one of my co-workers this statue. He was a pretty hardcore collector back in the day and he just busted out laughing. Him and I both came to the conclusion that it looks like an Arnold stunt double that should be only put on camera from long distances in blurry out of focus shots. That is the only way this piece could pass for Arnold, in terms of the face sculpt. I hate to say it but its laughable when you look at his face and nearly looks like a cheap terminator knock-off movie that was made in another country.

I would have said the only thing here that's laughable are you and you're supposedly 'hardcore collector' friend, but mental disorders are no laughing matter and you and your friend are both clearly delusional or suffering mental breakdowns......just being honest.

I know better than to give an honest opinion on here if its the least bit negative now. To be honest I did not expect to be attacked as I did and trolling is not in my nature. I found my story amusing and figured id share it in the thread. Did not expect to be jumped all over.

I just think it's starting to get out of control in that everyone is taking everything personal. Also sure it's just a statue, but these statues are parts of us and what we love and who we are so any negative comments to that will be met with some "I'm about to open a can of whoop ass" but the truth is we don't all have to agree on everything...we all have our own thoughts. But the same could be said if someone said the statue looks EXACTLY like him. The extreme points of views are always going to be outed and misconstrued. If it doesn't look enough like arnold for you then that is a valid opinion and can't really argue if that is how you feel. But when the words looks NOTHING like him come up, basically expect the war to begin.

Anyways it is what it is. Like it or hate it this is SSC T1 PF we are getting.

I'm not taking this anywhere, I'm dead serious....if you and your supposedly 'hardcore collecting buddy' [who I suspect is nothing more than a figment of your imagination] consider the likeness to be laughable then I think you should be spending less time around here, and more time seeking therapy.

And don't bother with the 'adult' comments......Trevor Grove, the finest sculptor out there, frequents this forum regularly....I wonder what he thinks of the stupidity of your 'adult' comments towards his work?
