At least Eddie is still alive. By all accounts he should have been dead a long time ago.

I wonder what became of mullet kid after the events of T2? He seemed like a good friend. He's the only one to survive the T 1000, besides the main cast. Also strange that the T 1000 didn't turn into him at some point to trick John. I like to think he saw John Connor on the news after he got home from the mall. He probably went to John's house and found his foster parents dead, then called the police. He would be about 34 years old now. He should've had some kind of cameo in one of the sequels.

Now i?m wondering if he?s also in the movie.

Russian clip from the chase:

Man this is weak as hell. Sorry...zero atmosphere, bad action, bad acting, very bad music. It is just a generic flick. And the villain looks and acts lame as hell. There is nothing exciting here...it is so boring that I almost fell a sleep. Not a surprise, and not a disappointment...it is pretty much expected. It is just the same old, same old...which we already seen countless times...and those were the better ones.

From that clip and that other new footage it basically just confirms to expect Genisys-tier entertainment.

Cameron's statement that it retains the tone of the first two movies - well from what I'm seeing and hearing I just can't fathom how it could. Maybe Cameron doesn't count visuals or the kind of action taking place. I mean this film seems to be in cartoon territory in those regards just like the last few sequels.

I have to say, I almost feel like Stallone needs to be involved in the filmmaking if there's to be any hope of feeling like it's part of the series. This film is showing heavy influence from modern action films and shows no understanding or connection with the originals and what made them so popular. Stallone at least seems to get how to modernize these old franchises without losing what made them work in the first place. Cameron is so deep in Avatar I think he's out of touch with what he did so well back when he didn't have all these crazy CGI tools available.

I suppose the difference is that Stallone isn't making sci-fi where it's probably harder to discern that boundary where you're now making a non-interactive videogame. Still, they're just constantly going way over with these sequels where I feel like - 'how can you not know?'

That early joint interview with Cameron and Miller had promise, where they said so much that was correct - and yet these trailers and what we know from plot leaks suggest we're getting just more of the same old same old as csutkakoma said. Seemingly nothing actually learned from the past 3 failed sequels.
