Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

It is actually. I remember finding the full movie once during a very deliberate porn browsing session.

Can you tell me the name of that mo... never mind, I already finished.

:rotfl Full movie isn't even necessary is it. Incidentally I wouldn't have been able to tell you anyway, I've forgotten. Its probably buried somewhere in my ridiculously large favourites list :D

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

This gets me more excited than the **** and ass that has been on display here, and that last bouncing ass wasn't too shabby either :lol

But, this is better (no spoilers):

Hydraulx special effects supervisor Chris Wells gave Starburst Magazine some interesting info on the opening sequence for Marvel's The Avengers that the company is overseeing.

"We're doing what essentially boils down to the prelude of the movie," he said. "There's a whole intro that happens before you start even getting the titles and it's pretty big. There's nothing small in this movie. I went to a screening with all the temporary visual effects and it was pretty fleshed out. It's a long movie but it doesn't feel like it. Out of all the comic book movies and franchises I've worked on, this is the best one I've seen so far."

That is certainly good news for the fans, considering he's worked on the "X-Men" films, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Incredible Hulk, Fantastic Four, Green Lantern and many more.

He was also asked if the film would be driven by action or the character-oriented work that writer/director Joss Whedon is known for. "I think they nailed both," he said. "I think he did a very good job of setting up the characters based on what we know from the Marvel franchise, integrating them together with all their differences and similarities and then getting on with business. And just when you think the movie is a character piece it just goes nuts."

Confirming that the Red Skull is not in the film, he added: "I promise you it's not going to be boring. This thing has gone so big that Marvel are dwarfing their other franchises. For people who enjoy the comics and haven't really liked the way some of the characters were treated in other movies, I think they're going to be a little more appeased by this one. Especially the Hulk. They let the Hulk be Hulk and that's great. He acts more like the comic book Hulk. It's fun. My biggest problem with every single superhero movie is I don't think the payoff ever matches the build up. This one definitely does."

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Its going to be a great summer of movies. My excitement levels for this and TDKR are pretty much tied at the top, can't ****ing wait. I'll probably go see the new Spiderman aswell though I'm sceptical, the clips I've seen don't particularly justify the reboot for me.

If that's even 50% unbiased, this is going to be great

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Reading that = goosebumps. And it made me smile because as I was reading the interviewers questions about character development, the first thing I said in my head was "he's gonna do both, it's Joss!" And then he said both and I got excited.

I'm just gonna fangirl for a while, and then get back with you all.
:D

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

FreddyvsJasonvsAsh already stated that Red Skull WILL BE IN THE MOVIE! That's enough for me!

LMAO!!! I didn't say anything about Red Skull.....when I went to that paid market research place I saw the superbowl spot which in that time had a few unfinished scenes and a few that didn't make the cut. One of those scenes were of the SKRULLS on top of a building scaling the side if...it was a one of those glass window skyscrapers. It also showed Thor take his hammer to one across the head...that was when you could see the green pointed ears. But yeah I'm one of those kids that sit at home and make crap up......if you look around at many websites they are noting that the skrulls are are indeed in this film as Loki's army and this are not just fansites either!! they are media magazines like Empire and Entertainment Weekly.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

just because they look like traditional skrulls doenst mean thats what they will be in the film...there have already been about 4 other races of aliens that have been mention that could easily be mistaken for the movie version of skrulls

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I dont know about you guys but this little 4 inch figure is proof enough for me that Cap should not have his ears covered in the film...unfortunately its too late now
