Movie was absolutely amazing! Great action and bunch of laughs! although cap looked kinda silly. everytime he showed up there were a couple chuckles in the crowd....

Take that Harry Potter, backhanded by the Hulk.

I've already seen it twice, and still want to see it plenty more times. Everyone involved with making of The Avengers deserves every accolade coming to them, especially Joss Whedon for hitting a Grand Slam.

He even made me actually like and root for Black Widow.

Joss better be back on board for every sequel PERIOD

In regards to the midend credits scene where we see Thanos's human hand. I theorize he can take human form and was in the process of changing to visit Earth very soon.

That was probably the best scene in the entire movie. One of the best comic adaption movies ever made. The ending had a striking resemblance to Transformers 3 though. Regardless, it was a great movie.

@VS But in the avengers you care what happens to everyone and the freaking army doesnt steal the show. The heroes do all the work. In transformers it was humans vs robots. This movie its avengers vs aliens. Btw there's no annoying kid running around whining with his ugly *** girlfriend.

I meant the scene where in Transformers (had the pillars & cube and the Avengers had the cosmic cube) which both open the skies to let the Aliens / Robots in. The fish like ship in the Avengers also look like the ones in TF. They were basically the same premise or idea......





......in this case Joss Weldon may had borrowed the same idea that Michael Bay did

I cant tell if Chris Evans was the same build as he was in Capt America...he looked tiny in some shots, ok in others. Suit was way too tight.

He had to be. Remember he went straight from Captain America to filming the Avengers.
