That is not the reason according to The Consultant short on the Thor Blu Ray, they are supposed to recruit the Abomination to the Avengers but Coulson sends Stark instead to piss Ross off so he will decline the release of Abomination because Coulson feels it is a stupid decision.

Lets just forget that silliness and use Irish's explanation shall we.

Uh, they had a pretty badass theme. Not the march, but the theme is the last half of the end credits song. And it was used perfectly during the tracking shot.

Actually he wasn't kicked out of Asgard he fell through the bifrost into another galaxy. He intentionally let go of the staff being held by Thor/Odin after Thor destroyed the bridge.

Agree. I must be something more extreme than a midget and maybe even a fat cow to him. I think Scarlet is around 5'4" and I'm shorter than her. I wonder if they ever stumble upon this, how she would feel reading that stuff.

Scarlett Johansson in the Black Widow outfit with that hairstyle. Doesn't get much better than that in my opinion.

I wonder if the sales will be through the roof. Obviously they will be. Curious if they will milk this for all they can and put different Avengers on different sets. Some people will feel the need to collect each one for a set. Not me, I'd just want Black Widow.

I'm kind of surprised to read that some here didn't care for the musical score. I'm something of an orchestrated film score addict. It's become ritual for me to listen to them while drawing, driving, and working. I thought the Avengers score, the theme especially, was both exciting and heroic. I've been listening this material for the last few days, myself, and I'm enjoying the heck out of it.

I think the music is extremely important and I did notice it. I noticed every song. With movies like this (and Sucker Punch = hellofascore) you notice.

Everyone talks about the Hulk stuff being funny but I didn't find any of that to be funny. All the Coulsen stuff I liked, the trading cards and things I found to be a bit funny. I dunno, what else was funny?

One of my favorite scenes from the movie was Coulson and Cap talking in the plane. The whole thing was great especially talking avoutthe stars and stripes being something we may yet still need.
