Actually the 3D was amazing with Avengers. We had lame seats ....... didn't matter thanks to 3D.

3D was OK imo.

It had some great points, and some OK points.

It was a bit more distracting for me, to be honest. I guess, because I kinda watched it just to see how it was, so I was judging the 3D rather then enjoying the flick.

Still a great movie, and by the end, the 3D didn't bother me, it all felt seamless.

Maybe I'm just too old now :(

The world mourns the death of your inner child. :monkey2

The hype is way too high on this one IMO.
Kinda hard to check it at the door with a bunch of people hyping it as much as this board.

There's a whole wide world beyond this meager board.

And The Avengers has grossed nearly $1 billion in it!

(...but it's all just hype, right?:wink1:)

Took my two grandsons today. After, I asked the 6 year old who was his favorite Avenger. He said Thor right away and Capt America came in second. Asked him why Thor and he answer, because he made lightning. :lightnin

Not a bad reason! When I was a wee lad and had a difficult time going to bed, I would often imagine what a real life Thor would really be like, flying around, beating up bad guys with his hammer, etc. In my mind, it was awesome. And it was weird, because Thor wasn't nearly my favorite comic character. . .the version from the Hulk TV movie wasn't quite the same :lol

When I saw it today, week after it's been out, very early in the morning, the theater was packed. Wasn't a free row.
