I think the movie versions may be a lot different. They may be sort of cyborg type...guys. Throughout the sequence you can see little purple lights amongst, what appear to be almost cybernetic attachments (the metal ridges that almost look like spinal columns). These lights always go out when one of them dies. I'm thinking, maybe Thanos has these guys enslaved in a way. A sort of tyrannical control mechanism.

Saw this again yesterday, but this time in 3D. Good-- but I'd suggest that you watch it first (as I did) in 2D.

When Hulk punches the nose of the big long alien and it flips over front to back, it reminded me of the 18 wheeler flipping over in the same manner in TDK.

Maybe she ripped out his antennie! Or his battery pack. Or.....

Really liked this movie, even after all the hype. Lots of fun.

Only things I didn't like were Fury (seemed out of place for me) and those aliens.

Surprised that I liked Hulk best.
