If you've only seen the 3D then I'd highly recommend that you check it out in 2D as well...

I've seen it three times in 3D and have no interest in seeing a flat 2D version. But I'm glad they have a 2D option for those who want it.

Well, having seen it in both, enjoyed the 2D alot more, but I know alot of people are seeing it at Imax and not a crappy local theatre like I did, which could make a difference I'm sure.

I loved seeing it in 3D with D-Box seats. When Iron Man flies out of the water and through New York at night, I felt like I was zooming along with him. When the aliens started flying through the portal, my seat tilted forward and I gripped my armrests because I thought I was going to fall right in. It felt like Star Tours. All movie experiences should be that fun and immersive. Well, maybe you don't want every movie to be treated like a theme park ride, but Avengers was a blast.

What is D-Box seats?

They are seats with motion servos built into them that are computer controlled and synced with the movie action.

There are around 25 locations in the US that have D-Box seating available.

Hell, if I could go to an Imax with D-seats, I wouldn't go to the 2D showing either!
