They set the date for September. It hasn't been released in Japan yet for one thing and it's still in a lot of theaters. They want to get that money first. IMO, I wouldn't have released it till closer to Christmas.

Question: Who will hold off buying the new Marvel movie releases (Iron Man 3, Cap 2, Thor 2, Avengers 2) in the hopes of a another set like this. I mean, this is named Phase 1... I'm guessing they have a Phase 2 movie collection planned.

I will. I'll buy the Iron Man flick because he is my favorite character but I still don't own Cap or Thor or even Hulk on DVD, I figured something like this was coming and am happy to wait until Avengers 2 to get that set that'll include I'm sure Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy as well.

I remember the Marvel vs. DC crossover comic back in the 90's where the outcomes were determined by fan voting. Batman won that battle with Cap by hitting him with the "batterang."

Superman and the Hulk also fought too along with numerous others.
