Walmart sent a notice saying my Avengers set has been shipped. I thought it wasn't supposed to come out until the 25th.

Are you complaining that you are getting something early? :slap

Online places will often send out their products in time to arrive on the release date. Plus walmart couldn't give an F about release dates :lol

Not complaining, just surprised. Can't wait to watch it again.

I watched "The Avengers", today...at Wal-Mart. It was about 30 minutes into the movie when I got there. And yes, I watched the rest of it there.

In case it has not been mentioned (I did not go through the thread to find out) Loki's spear tip was not removed from Agent Coulsen's death scene. It sticks out of his chest like an erection on a chestburster from "Alien".

You hi def Nazis are going to spooge all over yourselves. I was watching the movie on an 80" screen and the definition was...well...to be honest, I felt it was too good. I actually didn't like how good it was. It was even better than looking at someone next to you. It was so good that it looked fake to me. Real life is not that perfect.

Anyway...I'm thinking about going to Wal-Mart and watching it again, tomorrow.

Meh, I needs my viewing in stereo/surround sound :D

LOL...guess what, they had that hooked up too. Dspite my jokes...it was actually a good system they were using to show it...they pretty much sold me on th aquos 80" LED TV.

Tomorrow Ima get a soda, candy, and a bag of popcorn on my way to the entertainment section.:)

What pisses me off the mostis the missing deleted scene with Peggy Carter. The rest is nice, but this scene was crucial for me and it's not on the disc

I saw two english screenings of Avengers and one in german, but never noticed the missing spear tipin the german version. It was definately there in the OV. It's not pretty to see that scene now on blu-ray, but if it helps to bring Coulson back :rock

* grabs coat and hauls ass to Walmart *

You could probably grab some folding chairs and just set them up in front of the tv for your next viewing. I remember a few years back there was a few people in a wal-mart that had set up chairs and were watching a soccer game.
