An update on my blu-ray complaint earlier in this thread.

I ordered the American 4 disc import after I complained that my UK copy had a picture that looked like it was TV production quality rather than a cinema production.

After watching 45 minutes of the American copy I have no complaints at all. It no longer looks made for TV. It looks like a film put on disc now.

I must have had a disc with bad coding because I did not hear of any complaints of the UK one other than lack of extras and censorship.
