Frank keeps bringing up Yvonne Strahovsky. She'd work too so long as she bulks up. Ms. Marvel is going to get beat on and punched through buildings, so physically, we're going to have to be able to buy her taking that kind of damage. Hathaway is non-believable. She was horrible as Catwoman (in the costumed scenes). Realistically, a single punch would KO her and a kick would cripple her. SALT as a whole was completely unrealistic with how frail Jolie was. So a woman with an anorexic body type won't be able to sell the role.

I'm sure she'd be game for it. To be fair, if all the guys (even RDJ) had to get through some PT then the ladies should be willing to go the distance. Ms. Marvel can't be waify.

No, but the visual muscle mass sells the idea of strength. It's the same reason no one wants to see a skinny Superman.

I believe my other options to play Wonder Woman were Gina Carano and Miesha Tate, so you're wrong. As far as "good actress" goes, that's entirely subjective and dependent on the role. For Ms. Marvel, I'd say the physicality should be considered first and acting chops second. As I've already said, if the actress can't sell the character, all the Oscars in the world won't mean ****.

Gina Carano was amazing to watch in Haywire during the action and fighting, but she looks uneasy with the acting parts. She seems very likable in interviews and has a quiet charisma (and she's very easy on the eyes), but she would need an acting coach to help her with a major starring role like WW. A supporting role like Ms. Marvel or She Hulk would be a better fit.

I'm actually surprised that they're planning on bringing Ms. Marvel onto the team. From what I've seen of her in the comics she doesn't really fit into the current cinematic universe. Wasp I can see, even Scarlett Witch. But MM just seems to cross over into Supergirl/Man territory and not feel quite so "Marvel."

Ms. Marvel would've been far more useful in The Avengers than Widow. Danvers is a no-bull**** heavy hitter. If Weadon(?) picks the right actress to play her Marvel has another coup. Audiences will be looking at DC and asking "Wonder Who?"
