Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

If any of the love interests should have returned or have a cameo I think it should have been Pepper and/or Betty (Liv Tyler)
I agree.. Haven't seen Thor yet, but I can already tell I won't care much for Natalie Portman's character.

I would have loved it if they kept the girl from the original Hulk movie, and not got Liv Tyler.. But I still enjoyed her in the film.

I just revisited the 1st Fantastic Four movie, the directors cut, and let me tell ya, that movie was pretty damn fun and had an awesome catchy soundtrack to boot.

Part 2 wasn't good but part one was very fun to revisit and has held up pretty well.

Ok, back to the Avengers channel. :lol

Never cared for Fantastic Four. Ioan Gruffudd never ever channeled the kind of refined intelligence that is the trademark of Mr. Fantastic and never even hit the genius naïveté that made Reed likable. Jessica Alba was severely miscast, I'm sure for some popular T&A but Sue was supposed to be MILF style hot, caring and the ultimate mother. Alba was never that. At all.

Michael Chiklis & Chris Evans were the best part although I wasn't a huge fan of Evans' Johnny but two out of four in a movie is like saying I have this cool chair but I can't sit in it because it's missing two legs.

I can't wait for the reboot.

damn he's a scrawny bastard :panic:

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

The pic of him without the shirt on is when someone does a bunch of push ups to look bigger, and the recent pic of him in the new suit seems like they made the outfit two sizes too big.

Working to control. Not in control. Anyway, Betty was as much a catalyst for his change and interaction as she was a calming influence for it. In TIH thinking something was happening to her was the reason he hulk'd out on the college campus. She is a wild card in terms of how he will react to her.
