Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

because civil war was exactly like the comic too. :rolleyes2

no, it's a cool name. that's why they used it, I hope there is time travel tho.

Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

Also I'm pretty sure Affleck was contracted to do more than just 2 movies and an appearance in SS. I posted the HR report ecause I thought it was interesting what was being said. The fact that others on here were so vehemently against such talk I never would have posted it. But this is Hollywood we're talking about things change from second to second. Since day 1 Affleck was going to direct Batman he said it, and had a script for it. Then there was talk about him not directing and that was shot down, but then it was confirmed that he was not directing. It's Hollywood where the only thing bigger than an actors paycheck are their egos.

Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

In all honestly, if that batman is good i can care less if they reboot it with a flashpoint movie.

I just want at least one, good, solid batman flick with affleck in the cowl.

Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

It's more the way he says it, it doesn't sound scripted, it sounds genuine.
So yeah, I'll believe the actor in the promotional tour.

He is an actor. :lol

Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

If Affleck is leaving the Batman role does anyone really expect he would admit to it at a press event advertising his new movie as Batman? Of course he would say positive things. If he's planning to leave there will not be an announcement until the new year after JL has made whatever it's going to make. I don't expect him to do more than The Batman but he may bow out if WB insists on an extended picture deal, the trilogy idea Reeves has mentioned.

Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

I believe ben Affleck, he loves Batman and does it for his kids too, flashpoint we will see Thomas Wayne anyways

Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

Come on no more reboots. And people give spiderman a hard time. Let affleck have his shot.

Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

Let affleck have his shot.

He had enough already. Just look at him...

Yup this.

Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

You guys just can't freakin quit telling us he's out...hilarious. Hate to see how you deal with issues in the real world

Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

Hey even Fox News is talking about Affleck leaving and you know how factual those guys are!

Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

It's very simple really.

Affleck won't agree to a **** movie. Reeves' movie has his attention*because*its an R-rated one-off (like*Logan).

It's the other stuff the morons at the studio keep showing to him that's making him wanna run for the hills. He probably reached an ultimate level of disgust when watching WW.

Re: The Batman film directed by Matt Reeves...again

It's his loss if he leaves they have the potential to create good story and it's not like these people just work for free . If he wants to go back to making movies like live by night and the accountant he most certainly can. He said it himself " how many people get to say I am playing batman"

How do you know this Batman movie is rated r? Is it from the same source that said that they are making an r rated spiderman movie to?
