I came across a thread on Blu-ray.com where some people are using the DVD cases to store some of their BD discs because they prefer the art.

Wal-Mart has a lot of cheap DVDs and Blus, but they are the stripped down versions. If you want the movie only, then you'll probably find something.

Some of the really cheap ones they have are made just for them. They usually have a Promo sticker on them. I wouldn't want those versions but that's just me.

I personally could care less. I'm lucky if I have enough time to watch the movie itself so the extras themselves are pointless. The only thing I do prefer are Blus with the DVD so I can take the movie in the car or to work but for $4 I can live without it.

Best Buy Exclusive....

I bought this today, seemed an easy choice since it was $1 cheaper than the other equivalent version. In retrospect, I wish I had bought the normal version with plastic case, mainly because on the shelf it looks awkward in the big box and cheap when you just use the gatefold. There is nothing actually wrong with the gatefold, it looks nice opened up, but I kind of like a more uniform look to my shelves and I have had bad experences with paper sleeves/digipaks in the past, mostly due to discloration and or wear and tear of the container itself.
