Maybe they've been sandblasted - he's walked through one too many sandstorms with his mouth open lol.
That's what I think. When the howl of the sirocco comes, Boba crawls to the top of a dune, unzips the onesy, and gets everything polished and a manscaping via natural sandblasting.

Just based on the phrase "unzips the onesy", I won't be able to sleep a wink tonight. Thanks a lot!

In that case I might have to pop down to my local beach tomorrow for some sandblasting self-care. 😏
Guess I could do the same only it's getting pelted with snow and ice. If I wore my HASBRO helmet tho, I could tell the cops who arrest me for running naked through the snow wearing only a helmet that it's "derivative art" inspired by the Native American themes showcased in the BOBF, and the judge that my civil right to freedom of expression is being suppressed and he/she is a racist fat slug that looks like a Hutt.:monkey3

I always blame Jye;). Anyway now I'm stuck with "**** organ" every time someone mention the green codpiece - that's the thing about this show vs. Mandalorian, the wrong things are getting lodged in my overcaffeinated brain. Lizards up the nose. Blinding white teeth. The Penguin. The horrible end music bum, bum, da bum bum....:banghead

It sounds like a lead-in to one of Jaskier's (the bard on The Witcher) ballads rather than a SW theme. It feels lifted from a show like that or one set in medieval times...

Had to look him up. He seems to have been acting in various media since 1972. Critical acclaim for a couple of roles but otherwise seems to be a 'working actor' rather than flexing star power. I don't know .. I've seen what he can do so I'm still inclined to say direction and script is at least partially to blame, but I can't deny he's not selling me on this role, any nerd-picking about the character aside. I'm just not buying him most of the time.

His acting isn't a problem for me, it's that so far I just think Pedro's Mando is more consistent with my expectations of Boba Fett.
It's becoming clear that Mando is the classic BF show everyone wanted after all, not BOBF. This is a show that will fade away as Mando takes on enduring classic status. This is the Joanie Loves Chachi spin off that no one remembers.

Taking a page from Mando, there was certainly a cool, intense BF show that could have worked though.

I just hope that they don't mess up Mando season 3.

That's kinder than what I think, more like some wholesome hokey politically incorrect Western TV show from the 50s - yeehaw, Rawhide.....:gun:whip:computer
When this show should be Clint Eastwood, revisited. Guess Mando got there first....bum, bum, bah bum, bum bum bum....bumbling....

He's the solid supporting guy, not carrying a show as the lead. He was decent enough as a younger actor in OWW 25 years ago but placing him as the lead of a show is one of the stranger decisions I've seen in years.

TM is fine but there's a dozen actors who could have made the show compelling even despite tepid writing and directing. As-is its meh writing and meh directing delivered with meh acting.
Given that this show is supposed to take place not too long after Jedi, it is particularly jarring to see a guy who clearly is way older than Boba Fett was supposed to be playing that role. He was a little kid at the time of the prequels, but somehow aged 50 years in, what, about 25 or 30 years of time passing (I'm far from a Star Wars expert, just trying to gauge based on the ages of Luke and Obi Wan). . .I get that they wanted to maintain continuity with all the Clone Wars cartoons and whatnot, but I personally would have preferred to see a younger actor with some more vitality in the lead as an action (anti?) hero in a show like this.

I'm not the biggest fan of Temuera, but yeah, him at his age when he played Django could have been way better.

The problem is the version of Boba Fett being presented not TM acting.

I would take even worse acting than TM if the character was presented as an unrepentant villain.

I don’t get why we need an antihero after already getting an antihero that wears basically the same costume, Mando!

Hell they gave us plenty of antiheroes who were in basically the same costume with Cob, Bo, Koska and the 3rd wheel Mandalorian jettisoned for girl power remember him lol

So why why WHY couldn’t Boba Fett had just been allowed to be a villain for the Mandalorian to fight!

That actually sounds bad ***!

But nope!

I’m guessing Boba Fett is gonna help Mando invade Mandalore.

Not my Boba Fett!

I wish I could find a gif of him trying to run through the Tatooine desert in his pajamas. He is getting treated like a senior citizen by a lot of fans because he almost is one.

Stunt man with helmet on 98% of the time was the obvious move for Boba Fett.

Thankfully, Boba Fett had his best moments in the Mando show, so he gets to be a part of it.

Boba sitting on the throne with Fennec is arguably his most iconic image ever, and that happened in the Mando show. I don't think it's a coincidence that Boba Fett's best moments have all been when he's been a supporting character, going back to the OT.

Boba Fett is a cool looking side character, nothing more. I bet he'll be at his best once again in Mando season 3.

Even the guy getting beat up is like, please put the helmet back on. 🤭

Disney will only bend so far in the service of telling stories appropriate to these characters. Asking them to make a bad guy the star of his own show is a bit too much. Or maybe that was Favreau's creative decision?

Curious to see how James Gunn handles Peacemaker in his show. . .
