A stegosaurus is inevitable, right? There's a veggie eater I would love to add.

Me too. I want a stegosaurus more than anything. And while him versing an Allosaurus sounds cool (even if I don't know what that one looks like) I would really like a maquette of one too.

I'm looking forward to the styracosaurus that's possibly in the works but a stego would also be too cool to pass up if done well. And yes, a repro of the famous 'fighting dinosaur' fossils found in situ pitting a velociraptor against a protoceratops would get my vote. For sauropods, maybe an Armargasaurus with its spiny sailback could have some potential.

You mean like a herd dynamic with herbivores, or with parental/pack behavior with carnivores? I would like that very much also. A few dios I have in my mind are the famous Velociraptor vs. Protoceratops, Allosaurus vs. Stegosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus vs. Argentinasaurus, and Utahraptor vs. Iguanodon or Gastonia. Any and all of those would be awesome. :rock

A herd/pack piece would be welcome. I think they would need to use medium to small dinos to keep the size manageable, but that could be really cool. The dios you listed above are all "VS." pieces, which I also want to see more of, but I had something slightly different in mind.

I was talking more about including smaller dinosaurs that don't merit their own piece along side dinosaurs they would have encountered. Adding the "little lizards" here and there in pieces featuring bigger animals would add to the realism of the pieces. I think of a Compsognathus or two scurrying away from the swinging tail of the Stegosaurus.

I also wonder if we will see any sea creatures from this line. I would die if they offered a Mosasaur hunting Ammonites.

Sea creatures would be pretty cool. Maybe they could give the illusion of them floating in water by having them raised off the base by metal rods or something. It may be difcult to do that and it look good. Maybe some sea vegatation could raise them off the base and make it look better.

I know, those are just some dream VS. dios of mine. In terms of regular dios with packs, herds, etc. or even to have, say, an Ornitholestes gamboling about the feet of an irritated Allosaurus, I would be pleased.

That's what I've been saying, man! Branch out the line. I know it's called Dinosauria, but prehistoric fauna has so many possibilities. I would love to see a dio with a pair of male pliosaurs battling over a female or territory; or a Tylosaurus snapping its jaws around a plesiosaur. Heck, I would love a Megalodon tearing off the fin from a Bowhead whale... a man can dream. :D For now I'll be content with Dinosauria... but other prehistoric life presents so very much.

I just noticed on Sideshow's site they have a poll about what dinosaur you wanna see in a Dinosauria piece. Stegosaurus is in the lead with 147 votes. :rock

Some of you will also be pleased to know that a Plesiosaur was also in the poll.

Plesiosaurus, Pterodactyl, and Dimetrodon aren't dinosaurs, but I would still love any. Dimetrodon was an apex predator, so that's right up my alley. A plesiosaur would be cool if being hunted by a pliosaur, in my opinion. Pteranodon would just look really majestic and be an interesting piece, depending on how they might render it.

Still hoping for Allosaurus vs. Stegosaurus. For that reason I voted Stego. :rock

I hope they expand this line to include prehistoric mammals as well. I've always loved woolly mammoths and smilodons in particular.

In other news my WL converted for the exclusive carnotaurus! :rock

Awesome news about the convert, man! :rock

Looks like they're definitely going beyond just dinosaurs with this line, expanding to prehistoric life in general. Three of the six choices in the poll weren't even dinosaurs, so things are looking very good. Thank God.

If they keep up a high quality production, I'll get all of the series. I love dinosaurs and things prehistoric.

That's the dream, that the final production pieces look like what we're seeing. If so, then it's a sure win for them. I'll be all over this like Cate Blanchett on marmalade. :chew

It definitely will. The JP dio paint job was enough to make people wary. To screw the pooch again with dino pieces would be the death knell.

hey i wanna preorder one of these,i live in india, let me know if theres anyone i can do so through

That would seriously be awesome, in all honesty i'm not into dinosaurs that much however i would love a smilodon, mammoth or even a cave bear.
