Really? That's weird, seems like a good read though.
Not sure if I wanna know about this "old man stuff".

Or just let it go instead of trying to convince yourself that you like what you're seeing.
If you don't like it, you don't like it. It's just a movie. There will be more. Yeah, it's frustrating, especially if you're a huge fan of the first two and invested so much time into the hype for this one. I know where you're coming from because I have criticisms of my own. But it's not like your experience with TDKR is going to taint Begins or The Dark Knight. Just let it go. Enjoy the things you liked like Catwoman or whatever.
Spider-Man 3 didn't ruin anything. I forgot about it.
Just like how Amazing Spider-Man doesn't erase the Raimi films. No matter what the fanboys say,
Yeah. I really hate them. I really do.![]()
That's what I loved about the movie. Bruce Wayne finally realizing he can leave Batman behind him and move forward with HIS life. Fitting ending to the trilogy I think. Being Batman nearly destroyed him...as it would any human. He had super gadgets but he was only human....and he was troubled and in pain (physically and emotionally). I liked seeing this side of the character - it made him more realistic, in my opinion.
False advertising?![]()
I can't even begin to count how many times Nolan himself said that these films were about Bruce Wayne's journey. And how this (TDKR) is the end of Bruce's story.
Go see the film again. I know lots who like it much more the second time.
Man, I can see why Nam gets into it with Alex_Logan, the guy's a little prick.
By happenstance I was visiting a thread on another site and I saw a long ass post that looked familiar pertaining to the Dark Knight Rises.
****ing Alex_Logan took a post write up I made on here a few weeks back and commented that it was "nothing but fanboy nonsense" and how it's wrong to think how I am. I of course wasn't named and remained anonymous but I still think that's a little strange. Sucks too because I can't even defend myself.
Using my post for his argument worked so well that some other member there actually commented "that was a damn good post" about what I posted in here.
I really don't understand why that guy hasn't been banned from this site, especially after that stuff with the pictures of old men.
TDK was still a hot topic in August after release.
TDKR has come and gone off the #1 spot and I don't hear anyone talking about it outside of geek circles.
I mean, what happened? Did... did TDKR balls drop off?
