Given he cuts through metal all the time and his muscles are extremely familiar with moving around adamantium (his skeleton), I'm with Khev on this.
Right, because Wolverine has the muscular force of the Hulk? :cuckoo:

Here's a list of a few things Wolvie can't cut through: adamantium, second grade adamantium, carbonium, vibranium (Captain America's shield is made of this), Mjölnir (Thor's Hammer), The Infinity Gauntlets, Lightsabers (the blade itself), Colossus (in his metal form obviously), Superman (without Kryptonite nearby, another "duh" moment) or Chuck Norris.

Do I really need to go on? :lol

Anyway, density can play a factor in equivalent, or even lesser metals. However, when I suggested the armor plating, I wasn't referring to something as paper thin as aluminum foil. :slap

p.s. - the part after Supes was a joke!

Even with the armor though, it's only a matter of time before Wolverine overpowers him for the deathblow. :huh

I know. Like I stated before, Logan would eventually find the sweet spots between the armor. That said, Batman would have to have a second ace up his sleeve. That's where my suggestion of the antigen comes in.

Otherwise, he would have to play fast and loose and somehow entrap Wolvie... two strategies which are not very effective against the feral clawed Canuck. Force fields might work, but even that is likely reaching, for Batman.

Actually how did Castle kill Wolverine in that one "Punisher kills the Marvel Universe" one shot?

EDIT: Just looked it up: Electrocution.

And I see the suffocation trick worked in another "What If" comic where the Invisible Girl put a force field around just his head so he couldn't breathe.

Didnt Punisher kill wolverine by rolling over him with a bulldozer?

So batman would never beat wolverine as he doesntkill. Though, why wolvy would wannakill batman I dont know.
Batman does kill. He just doesn't prefer to do it, much less with a direct approach, like a gun. There have been times where he has let his opponents die or was the direct cause of their resultant death.

Either way, I would say Batman would win 1 out of every 3 times, but Wolverine is really too deadly an opponent for ol' Bats to be going up against. He should just bring a case of beer, some cigars and a few sensitive pics of Jean Grey. :lol

It'll be like waiting for LOTR extended cuts again. Not so bad, especially since (like ROTK) the final product may be much better.
