Right, because Wolverine has the muscular force of the Hulk?Given he cuts through metal all the time and his muscles are extremely familiar with moving around adamantium (his skeleton), I'm with Khev on this.

Here's a list of a few things Wolvie can't cut through: adamantium, second grade adamantium, carbonium, vibranium (Captain America's shield is made of this), Mjölnir (Thor's Hammer), The Infinity Gauntlets, Lightsabers (the blade itself), Colossus (in his metal form obviously), Superman (without Kryptonite nearby, another "duh" moment) or Chuck Norris.
Do I really need to go on?

Anyway, density can play a factor in equivalent, or even lesser metals. However, when I suggested the armor plating, I wasn't referring to something as paper thin as aluminum foil.
