Semantics, he was her *****.

Do this, do that, go there, fetch, die.

Then the Emperor was the main villain in SW Ep IV and V because he was Vader's boss?...For the TDKR film Bane was the main villain...that's it...Talia was more like extra villain Information at the end of the film

I wish you all the luck ...You are very smart and we all can see that you love Batman passionately ...take care

It is amazing the level of debate this movie has created in geekville.

Either Avengers is a perfect movie or it's as shallow as a frog's pond because only discussions I see coming out of Avengers is that the waitress makes more sense now because of Cap's deleted scene. :lol

Ledger's death messed up the plot for this flick.

:lecture:lecture:lecture:exactly: He's already stated that the third film would've featured the Joker, Maggy. :huh

In his interview with intothevoid magazine, he said this.

I know. When did I say otherwise?

I wasn't commenting on the Joker, I was comenting on this:

I understand that and yes it could have been another rebirth/reaffirmation of his dark persona and become darker, even revengeful...but then it would be more of your common vigilante film and maybe worse...expected.... IMHO

Yeah, but they projected that's where it was going and then Nolan pulled the rug from underneath everyone!

Why?

Ledger's death.

:slap

I don't believe that Nolan ever intended to take this Batman/Bruce Wayne to the never-satisfied-never-at-peace-always-vengeful persona.

That was never who this Batman was destined to become. I love that this incarnation of Batman was truly able to RISE above all that teenage angst.

I'm sorry wiz I couldn't read that through all the bangs you've got floating around your sig and avi.

:lol Chill out bro it was only a lil joke. no it doesnt make you a dog humper. Lol i didnt notice both my characters have bangs until now lol.

So who was Talia's boss?

Not Bane that's for sure...

I guess I was operating under the assumption (or hope, more accurately) that everyone saw them as a team at this point. Bane was no dummy, and his convictions were real. They worked together.

I'm gonna ignore the pedophile part...

Can we all just agree that the freaking Old guy bruce gave the coat to was pulling the strings the whole time?

That's the only reason you watched it? You seriously are only interested in it for the action? Why can't we have an incredibly well-made movie, with incredible action?

No, no, I'm not saying Avengers was bad. It was great, I bought it yesterday and have watched it twice since. It's a well made movie, although I think it had the potential to be much better.

I just can't understand that point of view.

I mean, we could have a well written, well directed Transformers movie with loads of action that'd be up in LotR scale quality with oscar-worthy performances...but why bother? Let's just make the ****tiest movie possible and put a lot of action scenes in it. That's all it needs I guess. Why put any true effort or talent into it? Why bother trying to make the greatest movie imaginable?

I saw it for two reasons. For the action. And the characters. That's it. Not a single thing more.

It's a MOVIE. Not a film. It exists for entertainment. But it did it so well. So perfectly well. It's one of those perfect movies. Like Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Jaws.

Movies that do what they intended to do to perfection.

You seem to want to be smarter then everything. When the best films are the most simplest. They're made with love, and intelligence. Not cynicism and greed.

It couldn't have been better, because it was perfect. What else did it need? A story that was overly complicated? Have you seen the prequels? The whole point was to see Darth Vader turn. Not space trades, tax invasions, political take overs....it missed the point of what it was doing, and that's why they are bad movies.

The Avengers got right to the core of what everyone wanted to see. These characters working together. To bog it down with a complicated story would have made it one of the biggest failures ever made.

Thankfully, Joss understood this. And that's why it works.

It's why Transformers doesn't. Overly complicated story for no reason. No one wants to go to a movie like that for the story. They come for the action. If they made the story really simple and easy, the films would work a lot better. Nothing wrong with being simple.

Nothing wrong with being complicated. But you can't overly complicate things that don't need it.

Wow, you still think that?

You don't? Bane was her *****. :dunno

Saying Bane was a pedophile is like saying Leon the Professional was a pedophile.

Given enough time, he would've tapped her. :nono

I guess I was operating under the assumption (or hope, more accurately) that everyone saw them as a team at this point. Bane was no dummy, and his convictions were real. They worked together.

Look at it like our army. Bane might've been the general, but Talia was the President, his commander-in-chief.
