Yeah, but, but, but how many of those are conclusions to a series and not just installments? I only count one other than Toy Story, and, as much as I love The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, it's not really a sequel. It's a follow-up to A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More, sure, but there is really no connection other than the director and a few cast members (one of whom plays completely different characters).

Khev said part 3, those are all Part 3.

Sure, take away The good, the bad, and the ugly and Goldfinger, there's still movies ahead of it (if one cares about rottentomatoes in the first place that is).

Last Crusade is ahead of it. Harry Potter is ahead of it. Toy Story 3. Return of the King. Hell, I also completely forgot about the The Bourne Ultimatum, throw that in there as well. And that's just third movies.

If a C is a C, then a B is a B. Most of those I had listed are As.

suppose the Last Crusade is the only dubious entry on that list but when I think about it it took years for me to figure out that it really wasn't up to par with the first too. It's still terrific entertainment. .

Right. So it might take you a few years to figure out TDKR isn't up to par with the first two in its trilogy, either. ;)

This thread went downhill since Nam left. TDKR and ST2 is better than IM3 too. The end......... If jye gets his gold tooth replaced and fixed then it is truly over for this thread:):rotfl:lol

For sure. I know it gets me in trouble with Indy Fans but its my favorite of the series.

I love Last Crusade. Though I was about 7 when it came out so was more open to whatever way it wanted to take the series. Perhaps if I'd been that young in 2008 I'd have liked KOTCS.

I do to. Same age (turned 8 later that year) but I also like KOTCS. It has some moments I'd tweak but its not my least favorite of the series.

I still do not hate KOTCS. In fact, I like it a lot until it gets to the Russian camp in the jungle. With a couple of exceptions (the prairie dogs & cemetery warriors) it's a pretty darn good Indy flick to that point.

I also don't have a problem with the pulpy Sci-Fi/alien bits (save for the fake looking CG on the alien at the end) and I love Doom Town and the fridge nuking. And I like the stuff in Akator, too. Awesome sets.

My big issue with KOTCS was the monkey/vine swinging and the nut shot stuff. The rest I rolled with pretty easy.

Yeah, those were clear low points. But I was also disappointed with what they did with Marion. She went from the coolest female character in this type of movie in RAIDERS to a completely goofy clown in KOTCS.

I don't have a problem with Shia or the Mutt character in the movie, though. Save for the stuff you mentioned. So many people hate him and cite him as one of the movie's main faults. I disagree. In fact, he and Harrison Ford have pretty good chemistry in most of their scenes, particularly in the diner.

I agree. Her character was really turned for the worse in this movie and I also think Shia did a nice job in the role.
