His art was so popular in Japan, they gave him an art exhibit show.

This is probably my favorite art he's ever done. It was like a 30 foot high painting of Musashi that was made for the entrance to it.

The mural he drew in the Kinokuniya store in Bryant Park is just breath-taking. I recommend visiting the store in person if you ever get the chance one day. It seems like a lot of people go there just to take photos with the painting :lol.

I do need to buy his art book for Vagabond.

I know I sound like a broken record, but I have a difficult time caring about anything in the DC film universe. I wish they'd had a couple solo films to establish the characters instead of cramming them all into a film at once. We'll get 5 minutes of backstory (maybe) to establish they're place in the world, but I'm supposed to somehow give a **** about them? It's not enough to throw some people in costumes (especially when the costumes are bad) and show them jumping and hitting stuff.

Sadly, I think Nolanverse will be the highlight of the DC film universe, for many years to come. Even TDKR was a much better film than BvS, in my honest opinion :lol.

Yeah I intend to at some point. I've been itching to buy the two artbooks that collect all his original art from his exhibition.

What pisses me off is that the last pic he sent me made it look like he was pretty much finished. I don't know what his problem is since I think he just need to ship it.

I just bought some art from Doug Mahnke but it took 4 months to negotiate it and actually get him to send it. Lucky, he didn't charge me until the art was in the shipping box ready to send.

Yeah, you never really know when you'll get commissioned art unless you have them do a quick sketch at a convention. This one is going on 9 months since I contacted him before SDCC last year. I'm glad he didn't just do a 5-minute piece, but I'd like to get the damn thing at some point. Billy Tucci sent me a sketch that he probably did in about 2 minutes and it took him 2 years to get it to me. I'd honestly forgotten about it. He did send me a bunch of signed prints with it though.

Is your collection complete? No casca or griffin?

Complete? Well I have all the current 1/6 line. I have all the Figmas except for Femto since it just came out. These are old pics I found. I blocked out a figure of someone neither you or Zod seen yet, but it's very early in the 200 chapters so you'll see it soon.

Gotta send Skull Knight back... I just noticed it's missing paint on the back near his spikes. Hopefully customer service at threezero fixes this.
