You know that some collector's take great enjoyment in posing their collection. That's the only reason that I could possibly see choosing HT's over PF's.

Re: The Incredible Hulk The Avengers PF release date May 3rd?

With the movie released on May 4th, anybody think the big guy will be ready for preorder on May 3rd?

100% totally agree! But these HT collector's would fight us tooth to nail how our thinking is flawed. That's a fight not even worth fighting anymore. I like HT's. They are just not for me. Maybe a few G.I. Joe's figutes, but that'll be all I could handle.

Yeah, that must be the reason. But for me no matter how I pose them I still feel the toy/dollness out of them :slap Maybe I am just not good of posing them, but I tried and failed to like them.

I highly doubt it, but I hope I am wrong.

Man I sure hope so.

I've seen some folks start comparing this to the PF hulk, but I'm not about to start comparing this to any other hulk. Id rather let it stand to be judged on it's own right.

It looks f'ing awesome and a great representation of the avengers movie version of hulk. A must buy for me. (all of the prior was in my opinion that is)

...but please no nameplate we all know who it is

Nothing is confirmed but it wouldn't be a stretch for SS to stick the LSF label on this one. The Neytiri from Legacy was also 1/4 scale.

Sorry but Sideshow confirmed, it's a Maquette in Collaboration with Legacy Effects :1-1:

So is this going to be ready for preorder in a few weeks? :monkey3

I honestly can't wait to just see finished pics of this piece. If they look as good as I think they will, then I can't wait for this bad boy to go up for PO.

But that doesn't mean it won't be an LSF though.

This is what they put on their website for summary description of Iron Man LSF:

...Sideshow's team collaborated with legacy effects to create this incredible maquette...

Neytiri is a maquette. What has not been revealed is if this will be part of the LSF line or not. I'd prefer not but the way SS have been releasing stuff lately nothing surprises me anymore.

I'd bet that this isn't an LSF. The film Hulk is between 8'-10'. A 1:2 scale piece would be about 4' to 5' tall. The thing was big but also on a pedestal, it's a maquette most likely about 1:4 maybe between 1:5 and 1:4 and will carry the Legacy Effects pricetag I'm sure.

scale has nothing to do with what pieces make the LSF line or not. Neytiri is 1/4, Wolf is 1/3, and future Sauron will be 1/4. As long as it's big, there's a chance it will be a LSF.

That's why I think the LSF line is a fail. Make everything for that line 1:2, and leave the Maquettes and large 1:4 PF pieces as they were. SS attempt to streamline everything has just made it more complicated for no reason other than price point.
