Not a fan of movie versions, but just as I own the Mark VI Maquette since it's not that distinguishable from modern comics Shellhead, if they release this Hulk I'll buy it in a heartbeat*. It's a huge green guy - exactly what you see in comics. And it's exceptionally well done, I might add. Best Hulk face ever, imo.

* Suddenly realizes it'd be a Legacy LSF-able piece and takes it back.

It's a Maquette, Fact. Sculpted shorts, who knows? The Predator Maquette was mixed media. 1/4 scale? Probably closer to 1/5, hulk is meant to be huge compared to the other Avengers. Hope it comes out a similar size to Abomination, that would make me very happy, Price permitting. Got a feeling this is going to be pretty expensive which is bad news for us international collectors.

Given that you're using three different licenses as a comparison AND that a Marvel LSF has already been up that was 1:2 I'd say that this parallel isn't exactly airtight.

My money is still on 1:4 maquette.

I agree that it will be a maquette as well, I was just pointing out that scale doesn't determine which pieces make the LSF line.

Pf comic vs maquette = Comic smash maquette

Comparing comic versions to movie versions is pointless, the pf nuthuggers need to stop making comparisons with this maquette to that pf when they cater to 2 very different audience groups. The pf could be hundreds cheaper then this maquette, I still wouldn't want it.

doesn't make much sense imo to sculpt the ripped pants over a finished sculpt, I would bet they will be fabric.

Except for the Iron Man VI Maquette. It is so much better then the comiquette.

for me,the comic representation will always be better than any movie will do

maquette isnt bad for me...

I'm with electroshock here. Comic designs are pretty much timeless.

5 years from now the MKVI Maquette will look outdated (not that I don't like it, I think it looks cool but movies always come up with new designs)

You speak the truth sir!

You forgot to add "IMO". I don't read comics and plenty of people don't. I'll always go for the movie statue or PF, and I don't like any of the statues you posted, especially that overrated down syndrome looking Hulk. It's all a matter of taste and opinion, so it's funny when people make statements like "comic always be better than movies". Not true for a lot of people.

that's why it makes no sense to compare a comic incarnation with the movie version. Again, 2 completely different audiences, some people just don't understand that.

I agree. Movies come and go. What if a movie sucks? If that is the only version of the character you know, why would you pick up a statue of a lame movie character? The root of ALL these characters is the comics. No comics, no movies. Everything you see on the silver screen is in some way, shape, or form, derived from comics. That's just a fact.

Read the last few posts, and IMHO, we should respect different choices people have. Who are we to say otherwise, or judge them? Having said that, the electronic media (movies and all) is temporary. Its more like a phase which will wear out with time. The characters we saw/read in print, won't.

If there's one Hulk from the movies which I would really like to be made/own (as an expression) is this, else I'm good with the comics' representation:
