I just couldn't ignore this hulk for the past 24 hours of my life. I keep on staring and staring at the pictures at home, work, gym....just couldn't stop! Once I find myself doing this its over! I just LOVE this realism kind of statue! The texture and shading is incredible to me. The teeth on this hulk is just soooo amazing!

I was thinking about waiting for the 1:4 Hot toys version of hulk but was deeply disappointed with some of the reveal shots. Still looks too much of a toy instead of a serious collectable figure. This SS Hulk will be displayed with the 1:4 scale Hot Toy avengers in the future.(Hope the 1:4 scales of the others are good) Until then, I just got an email from SS saying my Maybang lighted 1:4 case will arrive in approximately in 13 days. I will enjoy that staring at nothing but the glow of the LEDs and waiting for some 1:4 figures and/or statues to place in it. HULK TOO BIG FOR IT =/

Hey filip629 - Even though I have no issues with an open Edition for this particular piece and have ordered it I would like to say that I respect your decision to stand by what you believe in. Not always an easy thing to do.

Firstly, I doubt that anyone who buys a SS Marvel statue buys it just because of the movies. Most SS Marvel buyers are hardcore comic fans. It takes a lot of enthusiasm for a character to shell out PF prices for these statues. The fact that the Avengers will diminish in mass popularity in a while is moot to the hardcore fans who buy.

Second. I am vehemently anti flipper (scalper), but not everyone who sells a statue is a scalper. A scalper is someone who buys only to resell, particularly short term, just to force someone who really wants something to pay more, and put the money in your greedy hands. Some people simply have their tastes change, or other statues they like better come out and they need the room, or the money for those. When you sell a statue you loved, it is reasonable to sell it for the cost of replacement, just like you would sell a classic car that has appreciated. I've said enough about scalpers in the past, though.

I think this is a better work than the other Hulk PF because of it's detail.

Congrats to everyone getting this bad boy. I wish I could grab him but there is just no way to fit it into the budget at this point and if I am honest I have stayed away from the movie based figures as I prefer the comic book look a little more.

Looking forward to seeing this guy in peoples display next year

I've really been thinking about renting a storage unit lately. Mostly because of boxes but also some of the other stuff in the house we could free up room. Found a 5' by 10' climate controlled storage for $60 a month in right down the street.
