Rookie? I been here now for 4 months. Also got in on time for the DC line! finally went through my first sdcc btw which was crazy! Then now will soon find out what spooktacular is about but yeah as for this hulk he will be here for a long time. SS can make more if the first batch is sold out. I can see SS do a 10 year anniversary on this and make 5000 more for late comers.

wow! 14 years? Ok I will settle for being a rookie. your collection must be insanely nice with all those grails from back in the days. Gives me hope that I won't quit this hobby anytime soon. congrats for collecting for so long.

That doesn't make him wrong in this case. This piece will be available for quite awhile. An open ES does allow peeps to focus on other pieces that may not be there down the line. It just makes sense that this maquette isn't a priority to some people even if they are Hulk fans. Money can get tight these days. An open ES gives collectors the flexibility to pick an item up later when funds are more available.

Yep. It would make much more sense to pick up closed ES or sold out pieces first. I would pick up Skaar, Joker, or Rhino before ordering the Hulk maquette if funds are tight. There may even be other older SSC pieces you might want to add before the maquette. Adding pieces like that to your collection is a wiser use of your money IMHO. The maquette will be there for years to come. Some of those other pieces I mentioned are already starting to sell for some serious coin. Secure the closed ES pieces you like first. Your wallet will thank you for it later.
