I hope they get the scale right.
This Hulk is a maquette. If they made an Avengers Thor or Avengers Cap (for example) in premium format, it wouldn't work. :(

I don't know. The Avengers display at SDCC look great I thought and that was this maquette with the other premium formats.

not sure what you guys are talking about lately... The movie avenger team is complete, just waiting for the hulk to arrive, they will look epic together.

Everyone needs to know what scenario works best for them. My only point was that some of these closed ES pieces are starting to skyrocket in price. If you are a new international collector who wasn't able to secure some older pieces but know you want them, they should be a priority. If you are looking to score the EX Skaar or Joker, don't wait. Pick those up first. Those pieces will continue to rise in price.

I am not so sure, there is a big price shift going on in the secondary market. People are refusing to pay what they once did for the high price statues - anything above $300, more obvious for anything above $500. I think one of the factors are the massive amount of new pieces coming into play from sideshow, the statue market can only sustain so much before cracks begin to show & people are forced to sell their old statues to get the new ones (who would not get the batman/superman pf etc..?).

So in essence sideshow is soaking up the cash flow from this market with their massive 4000+ ES for the new popular pieces, creating a double whammy where there is significantly less money available for the secondary market while its inventory continue to raise as people try to dump their old stuff to raise money for the new.

Even averone is selling some of his statues now for chrissake...

This is all great for late joiners like myself(at least in the short term) as I am able to pickup the old pieces at insane price left & right... I dont think we will ever reach 4 figures for those new "grails" ie: vamp pf, skaar pf, joker pf etc.. like the old pieces did...at least not for many years until inflation makes it happen.

i wish they killed off hawkeye at the end of the movie, that would be cool :) he's so useless, no superpower, no hot chick, & only has a bow. Who still uses a bow when there are rocket guided missiles & machine guns? :monkey4

And infinity gauntlets, and power cosmic, and just straight up magic.

well i guess if you want stealth, but if all you want is for **** to be blown up, then yeah rockets and missiles work good.:horror:horror

either way the PF looks great, but i'd rather of had a arrow in the the bow.:lol

Well he has other skills. I'm sure the person cleaning his toilet is happy about that.

Yeah the final battle scene is the most epic part of the film and that's clearly what the HULK base is meant to represent so it would only be logical to have all the bases reflect that part of the film. It would be awesome.

As long as the base isn't a huge X or A, that's already an improvement. A big letter on the base looks dumb.

An exception would be an "FU".

We shall see. Skaar & Colossus EX is already selling for $700 + shipping. Gambit EX is very near the G mark now. The EX Spidey Com is gonna cost you good coin as well. A few of those have sold for over a grand on the bay. Joker was just released and will run you around $600+. Hell, the Batman EX has an ES of 2000 and isn't even close to being released yet and collectors are paying $700 on the bay for other peoples POs to the piece.

The grail pieces aftermarket prices are still holding strong. You may have an easier time finding these pieces but the prices are still high. That means demand is still strong for these statues as well.

I firmly believe if you really like a statue, get it as soon as possible. Especially if it has a closed ES. I've found that once the prices start to rise on those SSC pieces, they rarely ever fall back to their original retail price. Quite the contrary, it's a slow but steady climb upwards.

this especially holds true for any of the main popular characters.:lecture
