How do you prefer your end of season 1 beskar Mando? Clean silver look or dirty battle worn? Or would you buy both versions?

Both for me. Have enjoyed having battle damaged and clean CW Cap - it's like that; IMO always good to have variants for some figs like IM. Others like SW, say, so far don't see the point even if a distressed IW version was available.

Also depends if I can use accessories/dio stands to give different look to same fig. Characters like Mando, Bucky, Batman etc. that's easy. Be nice small change-up if:

Love that picture... but Mando's head looks really small.

The head looked really small in the initial prototype pictures. It is not a trick of the photograph unless all the initial pictures were warped too.

The head size is what has prevented me from pre-ordering the figure to date. I was hoping that they might correct it, but suspect it will only get re-used on future mando figures now too, which would be a big (small?) shame.

Pea-head Mando it may well have to be.

It'll be amusing at least when he (probably) eventually gets a full portrait headsculpt.....and its bigger than the helmet he supposedly puts over his noggin.

Hot toys really has a habit of undersizing heads, they oddly go for superhero-proportions, like the proportions used in comic illustration, rather than using actual human proportions.
I get it when it comes to comics, don't really understand it when you are aiming to create an impression of realism.

The head on my justice league wonder woman is just ridiculously tiny, possibly half the size of a real human head.

If they don?t use a realistically sized helmet I simply won?t buy it.

Had enough of stupid design choices at $400CAD a pop. There?s no figure I need that badly.

I'm going to wait until SDCC before ordering anything. We should know everything including any summer exclusives they are going to release from season 1 and everything should be updated to what the final product will be.

There's so much Mando coming, I can wait to see what improvements, if any, are made and what other options they offer. Plus, the two-year wait... we'll be on Season 3 before I have an HT Moff Gideon and Child in hand.

Just seeing all the detail - IF HT delivers - has me in the "glassy-eyed-greed" state:drool. Stuff in the show like the beating his armor took and the details they were careful to follow through on (like when Mando was fixing his chest armor) is stuff I appreciate in figs. In this case the amount of weathering etc. No excuse not to IMO since no head sculpt.

Also bein' someone who's catching up, there's this dated 2010:

sure this has been discussed before, but in the spirit of helpfulness, here's the link: https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Mandalorian_armor You'll need to scroll down quite a bit, but it'll behoove you to read the rest of the info along the way. If the link doesn't work, here's the quote of the meanings during and after the Clone Wars era:
As of the Clone Wars, these colors were known to have significance:
Gray=Mourning a Lost Love
Red=Honoring a Father
Black=Justice
Gold=Vengeance
Green=Duty
Blue=Reliability
Orange=A Lust for Life

These are the widely accepted meanings, though it must be noted that some Mandalorians simply prefer the look of a certain color and don't really care about its meaning. Also, Journeyman Protectors are expected to have green as the primary color, and other canon characters naturally have their own set paint schemes. I hope that helps.

No idea if Favreau/Filoni are paying attention to this kind of thing re the show, but thought it was interesting info. (Suppose a case could be made for the reddish/gray colors honoring his slain parents.) Tho it wouldn't surprise me re some *epic end crossover battle* if Mando ended up in black and silver beskar.

Where is the link where this is started:

I bet they will keep it for second season in 2020/21 with 2023+ release date. Wanna a tea while waiting? :)

Yeah, I do. Chai.:cool:

Beskar version will be a thing; but luv look of this first costume anyway. Re baby HT needs to get on the ball fast there are KO's all over.

I love the show and the figure looks great, but does anyone else find it criminal that Baby Yoda is not included. Hot Toys is honestly going to ask us to pay upwards of $150.00 for him most likely.
