I don't understand the hate for this episode. It was entertaining, and I like seeing Bo and Din go off on little adventures together. I enjoyed this episode a lot more than the last one with the pirates and that strange Gorian Shard character. Season 3 isn't as good as the first two seasons- mostly because the novelty has worn off at this point- but it's nowhere near as bad as TBOBF.

Why didn’t Din just hand her the dark saber before she went to see her group?

Hell how come she didn’t know that she earned it back she knows all the rules right?

So bad so so bad.
My son kept saying "why doesn't HE just use the Darksaber to make everyone follow Bo or go back to Mandalore?" :dunno

Well it was good while it lasted
Yeah. At least we got a great ending with season 2. I don't really need any more than that.
All good things must come to an end. That's life.
So there's always only been two options: 1 - end it while its on its best and leave people wanting more.
Or 2 - just keep going for as long as you can until no one cares anymore (like TWD).
Here, we kind of got both now: That great ending that everyone loved with season 2 - and it totally works as a conclusion to the story for me. And now they just keep going until people will loose interest at some point.
I kinda can live with that. I got what I wanted: Two great seasons. And I'm really happy those exist.

Whenever we love something we always want more but deep down we all know that if it just keeps going forever, it will turn bad at one point or another...

Gods have you guys read the last ep spoilers on Reddit, this is gonna be lit in the most chaotic, makin-no-sense whackadoo way possible.

I ask you, WHAT GOOD DOES IT DO to meander around all over the place for five episodes and jam-pack erry last thing into the final episode? Honestly I am wondering what the production team was smoking this season! That must be some next level stuff.

Haven't read tho at this point if the focus of the show has completely shifted from the stoic gunslinger on the hero's journey to "everybody's a Mandalorian" and some sort of trope pairing of Bo and Din with a cast of thousands and the TikTok guest of the week, all leading to a crammed movie filled with rehash and every character Filoni ever created - all led by the unkillable Ahsoka - then for me it's not the show I invested in.

It's not that at some point I didn't think Mando's world and arc wouldn't expand, but not with the main character shuffled to the.side and Muppet scriptwriting. From fresh and original dragged into the deeps of fan service, and Abrams style editing and pacing. So I expect the worst.

It seems plain to me that this is being set up to segue into a movie. Would not be at all surprised to hear that season four has now become a movie.

Problem is, I do not think its a movie that I will care to see. In large part because no matter what they do, I still dont care about the ST. I just dont.

Expecting a Rey cameo momentarily. She is who will end up training Grogu. Want to bet? I dont. 😑

They better keep Boba and Fennec out of this.

Rey hasn’t been born yet in the Mandalorian timeline. But Ben Solo is about four years old by now.

Jack Black
Lizzo
Flea
Kumail Nanjiani
Christopher Lloyd
Amy Sedaris
And yes even Bill Burr

I’m sure I’m missing one or two

Please stop putting in Pop Culture cameos that take me out of the shows and make me feel like I’m watching the Star Wars Holiday Special.

Who asked for any of this??
The shows themselves suffer from major characters and plot points never being mentioned in the movies.

Mandalorians, Grogu, Ahsoka, Maul rebirth!

I mean holy crap Ahsoka is never mentioned ONCE in the PT and here we are treating her as if she was married to Anakin, not Padme! :slap

I don't mind cameos as long as they are done well but most of them haven't been. Bill Burr was great, especially in Season 2, he really killed that one scene where he executes the Imperial guy.

Cameos should be one of two things:
  1. A celebrity appearing as a Trooper or an Alien where you don't even know it's them (Simon Pegg in TFA).
  2. An actual character that maybe shows up for an episode or two and actually brings something of value (Bill Burr).

With the announcement of the Mando-verse movie, I do think season 4 and Ahsoka will lead into it. They probably won’t bother with BoBF season 2 anymore and just throw everything in there, along with whatever they can salvage from the Rangers of the New Republic project.

Favreau/Filoni can go full Endgame with all of the fan-service with that and we can just close this era already since it’ll lead into the ST anyway.

I'm way behind on Mando. Is Lizzo really in this world somewhere?

I don't think any of us would complain if any of the cameos were as well-handed as that scene was.

That's the kind of storytelling and acting and unexpected stuff we need more of.
