Everyone camps to a point. You move into a new area and stop in a safe spot to check around and kill anyone you see if you can. if you just run around the map wide open all the time you're probably going to go 6 kills and 20 deaths

I think what drives most people nuts about camping is the ****** bags who NEVER move ( other than snipers ). They just keep sitting n the same spot and if they get killed they run right back to that spot and camp some more. I just don't get that at all. What kind of fun is it to just sit there the WHOLE time and hope people walk by?

On some maps I camp and on others I'll be constantly on the move,
that's just how I play. Those who complain about me I tell em' to
feel free to quit the game and join another campaign.
I never understand those who constantly complain about campers,
what the F$#@ is a SNIPER????? and these days there seems to be more snipers than guys running around.

exactly how I play as well.

I dont complain about campers cause once you get dropped by one theyre easy to pick off after that.... they basically serve themselves up on a platter by staying in 1 spot. Hell you can blind fire into the corner they might be in and get a kill

I don't have problems with campers. They suck anyway. The thing that bothers me is the people that use noob tubes to start each round off. They just shoot the noob tube across the map where they know you're team is spawning and blow up half the people.

edit: I take that back. I hate when people camp spawn points and use tactical insertion to continue camping them.

Strange times for Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward. According to a G4 report that surfaced last night, a “bunch of bouncer-types” showed up at the studio unannounced and would not explain their presence to nearby employees. To make matters even more puzzling, IW co-founders Vince Zampella and Jason West had not been seen on the premises since Monday, following an internal meeting with parent company Activision.

More circumstantial evidence points to an SEC filing published today by Activision. Specifically, it denotes that the company has been actively conducting “an internal human resources inquiry into breaches of contract and insubordination by two senior employees at Infinity Ward,” further noting that the investigation is expected to “involve the departure of key personnel and litigation.”

Additionally, a Facebook wall post by Jason West talks of unemployment. Likewise, both West and Zempella have updated their LinkedIn profiles to indicate that their involvement with the studio ceased in March 2010. There’s still no word on what exactly led Activision to pursue such charges against the duo, or what contractual agreements were broken. It is safe to say that their ties to IW have been permanently severed, however.

According to anonymous statements given to Binge Gamer's James Walker, Activision has yet to pay Infinity Ward so much as a dime in royalties for 'Modern Warfare 2', which has earned Activision over one billion dollars in revenue. Additionally, a separate source has suggested that Activision's reasoning for firing West and Zampella for "breaches of contract" may be tied to what Infinity Ward was intending to do after their contract with Activision expires in October, 2010.

The only good news out of this is the guys who are responsible for Dead Space are taking the Call of Duty franchise and doing a spin off in the action/adventure style. Which I'm sure will be a lot like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

Well the article did say they still plan to release 2 map packs this year, but again with whats going on who knows. Things could change very quickly once all the legalities start flowing around.

Maybe people are actually starting to play the game properly

Man, the campers were out tonight! Was shocked for the 1st time since buying it due to the fact I played about 6 SND matched and not one person wasn't camping!

we must have been playing the same maps.. 3 out of 4 games I'd run around and for about 30 to 40 seconds I didn't see or hear any shots from the enemy.
