Actually when I think of torches and pitchforks I automatically think of religious fanatics. Particularly the ones in Salem who burned up a bunch of their neighbors for witchcraft.

It amazes me just how ridiculously stupid some people are that think guns should be outlawed.
First off the people who commit these crimes are crazy get the punishment they deserve. Next it is written in the constitution that we have the right to bear arms. So sorry but millions of responsible people own guns and to try to takeaway that right would cause more trouble than good so get over it.
I don't drink and I hate drunk morons who drink and drive and kill the responsible drivers but you don't see me trying to get alcohol outlawed.

well i guess i will put My two cents in,
First i have been collecting Weapons ,Since I was 15 mainly switchblades
,when i turned 18 and was able to buy my first long gun it was a Ak-47, I have owned about 13 of them.I have carried a Pistol On me from the age of 19 after having 3 police officers sign My CCW .


I am a veteran Of the Alabama National Guard and i own a M4 ,I am trained buy Uncle Sam on this weapon. which i know like the back of my hand,

I also applied with the ATF for a federal Firearms License which after a full back ground check(which is not as tough as the one the US Army did to train me as a M1A1 Abrams tank crew member) was issued One By the Government so if the ATF and My local Sheriff see Me as a law abiding Citizen and granted me a License for Assault weapons and hand guns,
Then who are you to tell me I do Not need these weapons Just because you don't Like them??,
I do not Hunt.all of my weapons are for personal protection .

Look at the Riots in LA the store owners with assault weapons that defended their property and their lives against a Blood thirsty Mob,Look at how fast new Orleans went to total chaos,

I jumped through every hoop I had to ,to get My weapons, By the Books and By the laws set By the ATF .
I earned My right to bear arms ! be it a 22lr ,Ak-47-M4 or what ever else scary you .I am not the one to fear ,I am not a redneck gun worshiper ,

I just know that Man is capable of many evil things' even without firearms.I just choose Not to be the Victim and I pray it never comes ,But if mass Chaos hits here i with be able to defend My family and Myself .

You have your belief and I respect that ,but don't lump all of us Gun owners as crazy nut jobs..I am not trying to Come across as a A hole or attacking you in any way Josh .But really saying "No person has the right to own this type of weapon "is a Little out there in My books .All my law enforcement Buddies are out gunned on the street

,Not By us legal Gun owners as we would back them up .but criminals will always strive to One up ,those are the ones that worry me ,But if one crosses My path .like the shooter in Arizona .My rounds would have found their mark, Not spray and pray Like you think.

I guess he thinks you should only be able to protect yourself from threats that require a 9mm (with short clip, I assume). I wonder how much red tape and wasted money it would take to guarantee that people only have 'enough' firepower, and never 'too much'.

I've never heard of a gangbanger taking a safety course. Or caring if their weapons were purchased legally. Do they think a ban on firearm sale and manufacture in this country would keep guns out of the country?

Basically, people owning assault or other military grade weapons doesn't make me feel safe. It scares me that people own this ____. Its been fun but at this point we're going in circles. Excellent! Good posting. If this keeps going I may have to dig up the video of the Soth Korean store owner defending his property doring the LA Riots with an AK. There's also footage of law enforcement forcefully disarming lawful gun owners during Katrina. Also look at some police brtality videos on Youtube sometime. That is usually localfootage, yet people don't think the government would'nt do it?
