Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I can't say who is right and who is wrong as far as who should die and who should live, but I keep coming back to a line in the original Dawn of the Dead:

"When the dead walk, we must stop the killing or we lose the war."

I don't think she's ugly. I think Norman Reedus is a nice looking man. Maybe that's my age showing. :lol I would just like to see him with "pretty" instead of "normal".

It's my fantasy. Thanks for playing, though. :lol

You just like his big, bad bow.

:D

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

No one cares about T-Dog. He's proof that there's too many characters on the show right now. He literally has nothing to do but pop up in the background occasionally.

Haha, now that you mention it...I do forget T-dogg exists on the show.

Honestly I am surprised he survived the cut in episode one of this season, I thought that was gonna be his death scene.

But at this point, they'd have to find a reason to kill him. A bigger reason than just because he isn't doing anything. They'd have to get some story out of it. I wouldn't be surprised if he does die this season though. Glen Mazzara said there would be 'deaths' in the 2nd half of this season.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Hershel almost seemed to enjoy that. He could have shot that guy imo given his aim, but it was like he was proud he didn't and used him as a distraction instead to slow those zombies down while they fed on him. That had to be one of the more brutal deaths so far.

I agree with what someone else said, Rick has been coming to terms with the idea that the people in the group and the other people out there are more dangerous then the zombies, I think he was really optimistic about humanity pulling togeather in all this and that ideas slowly died and is now souring and he's starting to become more predatory in actively defending his family.

I think Hershel knew that the guy was toast. Why waste the bullets. Once you're bit, you're a gonner!

Not me. I'll take Lincoln.

If I'm not mistaken, he's an English actor. The accent would have me then. :)

He is. He used to be on a show called Teachers where he played, surprisingly, a teacher. I stopped watching it when he left. I like the chap, he's good.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I just finished reading The Rise of the Governor. It tells the backstory of the Governor. Anybody else read it? I thought it was good, but not great. The comics are better IMO.

Curious what others thought about it.

I thought it was pretty decent. I do agree though that the comics are better.

I love how quickly Hershel has adapted since the barn incident. Hell he made the most sense in the situation with the guy who's leg was impaled. Shoot him in the head. It's more merciful. Even if they let the guy go, he's gonna have massive leg damage and if the guy ever encounters a herd of zombies, he's most likely done for anyways.

Yup, accent and everything. I've said before, that's just not fair. You shouldn't be capable of playing a tough and handsome American lawman, and get to have an English accent in real life.
