Was the only apartment available in the smoking allowed building?

No, but my friend would have had to pay more for a room in the "No Smoking" building. In the apartment itself it's not bad, but we always have to walk in through the other side of the building and that's where most of the smokers live.

Holy crap. I haven't rented since 2005, they freaking charge you more for an apartment in a no smoking building? WTH?

Yep, they do. They also charge you more if you own a dog. Yet, for some reason, they don't charge you extra for owning 10x more furniture than you need when you live on the top floor and move it around almost every night at 12:00 so that my friend who lives below them can hear it. I wasn't present for these events, but I'll take my friend's word for it.

Shouldnt they charge MORE for the smoker section????????

U are being overcharged for being healthy? Wtf

That brings up something I hate. Health food, costing more than the garbage. I assume it's that way since the country is comprised mostly of slobs, so they cheapen it to their demographic since it's bought in bulk.

Hate to break it to you, but as you get older, you'll start to wake up earlier...and fall asleep earlier. You can probably try and delay this by purchasing room darkening shades.

Used to be a night owl...not anymore.

Last Friday I stopped at Noodles and Company on the way home from work to pick up some mac n cheese for my daughter who was ill (mac n cheese is her favorite comfort food, plus Noodles and Co. is her fave as well). Order came to $6.77. I gave the clerk $10.77 initially, then added $1 so I could get a $5 bill back. I guess she didn't enter the "tender" into her register. I KID YOU NOT she could not make change/do the math in her head, and was looking for a calculator the whole time. Even after I told her how much change I should have gotten back, she needed to confirm it on the calculator.

I quit trying to help them make change. I got tired of explaining it. I used to make it so I wouldn't get a lot of change. Like if something came to $9.05, I'd give them a ten plus a nickel. They would either give me the nickel back, or give me a dumb look. Even when I would explain that they would only have to give me back a dollar rather than count out 95 cents, they still didn't get it.

Wrong phone call or wrong person call. But those computer phone scam is the worst. They'll try to get access to your computer remotely. Pretty sure a small percentage do give it away, lol. Consider yourself scammed!!!

Strange how Mr. Green can stay up to 5 am and not even feel bad or sleepy about it. But that means he'll have to go to sleep late.

Chemicals are cheaper than the real deal.

When eating healthy you're eating mostly fresh foods, which cost more than junk food. I just came from the store and grapes were $3 a pound but for the same price I could buy 3 bags of chips (88 cents) and have change.

Takes more to get fresh food :(

I guess you guys got a point. I spend on average about $700 a year on Protein powder alone.

I think the only reasonably priced foods I get are chicken breast and ground turkey. My jagoff mayor imposed a soda tax, which cuts into my soymilk. Now it's like an extra dollar, on top of the ever rising cost the supermarket keeps making it. My wife buys protein shakes and the tax is on that too.

I buy organic chicken and eggs because regular chicken and eggs tastes disgusting. I can tell the difference.
Costs me twice the price but cheap eggs taste like burned plastic or something.

We found an awesome old school farm distributor where we can pay 5 dozen natural eggs for $6. :rock

This apartment complex knows that the population of smokers outweighs the population of non-smokers in our area. They also know that most smokers in our area can't afford many luxuries due to their habit. Therefore, they figure that charging smokers MORE will mean less business for them. They figure that the non-smokers will be able to afford the extra charge.

In Ireland you can only buy packets of 20 cigarettes, no fewer - and those cost an average of 11euros 30 cents at the moment. Rolling tobacco will soon be sold only in 30gram amounts or above, costing 15euro plus. So glad I never took up that habit. Essentially burning away money.

I really hate it when FedEx says that my item is scheduled to be delivered on March 28 but then just changes it to March 29 for no specific reason. Of course, I'll be at work most of the day tomorrow, meaning that it's likely that the package will be stolen by some scumbag following the FedEx truck or the FedEx driver himself. #GetYourActTogetherFedEx
