I got an email from SSC yesterday that they're no longer accepting AMEX as a form of payment. I wonder why. AMEX is the only card I ever use and everywhere accepts it, even the local diner in my area. I'll probably have to take my business elsewhere.

AMEX was probably charging too much in fees so Sideshow dumped them. It's a ****** deal for customers though since I know a lot of people use that card.

I don't like to sound like an elitist snob, but one thing that I really hate is the never-ending and ever-increasing popularity of the Five Nights at Freddy's game. :gah: I don't have anything personal against the creator Scott, and it's not really the game that I hate - it's the rabid (literally) fans who can't handle the least bit of constructive criticism over it. I also can't stand the ****ographic fan art (cue vomit emoticon).

I'm an adult fan of LEGO's Ninjago series and major fan of the villains from its first season. Because both Ninjago and FNAF are basically aimed toward the same age group, I can't run a Google search for anything Ninjago-related without running into something FNAF-related. Ninjago has been around since 2011 and is relatively popular. FNAF has only been around since 2014, yet it's 10x more popular than Ninjago. WTF? I think there should be a restraining order that forbids FNAF from continuing.

But, as long as the rabid 10-year-olds gobble it up, it will continue. :horse

I hate when people say "literally" when it doesn't apply. If a kid "literally" is rabid, they have rabies. Just sayin'. :lecture

Yeah, what the **** happened. People didn't always abuse this word. Suddenly in the last few years everything is like, literally happening, like, OMG.

That's what I suspected about the fees... I'm really going to miss SSC's flex pay, but I think I can do without them now. I'm especially peeved by their awful packaging. No other retailer that I know of ships HT figures in the packing boxes.

It's ******** that Sideshow charges $10 to double box HT when it's standard for every other company.

It was either kim kardashian or paris hilton or one of those fame for nothing chicks that made it famous (omg....like....i literally just love those shoes)

Mentioning that, I like how BBTS always packs figures in big boxes with massive amounts of bubble wrap, and their shipping charges are still comparatively cheaper, than when SSC ships without the double box :rotfl.

I haven't bought from them in some time, but when I bought both Ash and Leon Kennedy recently... the standard rate was $20... and that's for a single box...

The $20 shipping sucks, but not as much as having to ask them to double-box your figure and getting charged an additional $10 for the privilege.
