Not long ago I posted an article from the WSJ that was related to a recent political event.
I was quickly and publicly warned by a moderator that no discussion of politics was allowed and my posts (as well as the posts of some others) were deleted by the moderator.
So seeing this discussion of religion continue in this thread, it seems that religion is permitted while politics is swiftly shut down with warnings issued and posts deleted. Which is fine because this is not my forum, but I just want to make sure I understand what is/isn't acceptable. If religion is not acceptable then mods please show consistency and treat it the same as other off limits topics.

You know as much as I'd love to answer both questions I don't know that there's a single person on this site who wants to hear my opinion on either of those topics right now.
Holy crap khev and this thread. I go on a serious youtube binge and grill some food, then come back and khev pretty much wrote the new new testament to answer my question. Khev, dont know where you found the time or how much time it actually took you but touche, i have not the time to read all of that and i will have to just take your word for it.
