It's nothing I haven't heard before. Although, her definition of radicalization goes to the broader sense of passive fundamentalism, and it wasn't just limited to jihadists. The numbers are troubling, but, here's a question: what can you do about it? As much as those beliefs are in conflict with Western values, you can't exactly censure a person's religious beliefs, or dictate what they should think. That would go against the first amendment.
I'm just saying, that we have to be very careful with who we regard as our enemies. Even Trump decided to walk back his proposed "Muslim ban", and limit it to select countries, instead. Of course, it's still being played out in the courts. There's also the fact, that America needs it's coalition of Arab allies in order to combat Isis going forward...
