Cinco de mayo is definitely appropriation, so is saint pattys day.

I can see a future where those are banned.

What does "cultural appropriation" even mean? It's like now, it's common place to make up issues where there aren't any.

Easy, it is about stealing other peoples culture. if you use or do anything from another culture then you are guilty of it. So only latinos can celebrate cinco de mayo. Only asian people can wear kimonos. Only black people can have dreadlocks. Etc. What they want is each culture sticking to their own customs. They mostly atrack whites doing yoga or eating exotic food etc.

Wow. So much for that melting pot.

Whenever this subject comes out, some people react by saying ( oh who cares) or ( oh it is a big deal)
But people have gotten fired for it. Yofa teachers have gotten fired in the past for being white. Colkege teachers for wearing mariachi costumes. A museum had to cancel an exhibition because of complaints. A lot of teachers have gotten in trouble.

I hate the unbelievable and incomprehensive general stupidity which most people possess. Or perhaps I marvel at it. I dunno. :sancho

Are you sure you aren't indifferent about it? At worst find it scary? Or maybe instead you love it and actually want it? Whatever you do just don't get mad about it.

I wish I were indifferent. I do find it scary. I definitely don't love it or want it.

I try not to get mad about it, but sometimes....
