that's why I never understood it when guys pay hundreds or thousands at strip clubs. I guess it's not considered cheating if he's in a monogamous relationship :dunno

by monogamous relationship, you mean with his hands right? :lol

Serious Question- That guy died by ***. Was it from exhaustion or what? Dehydration? I'm curious!
:dunno

i was wondering why the mother kept count. :lol:rotfl

I'm with Nam. I want to be wined and dined! :lecture
Besides, guys actually like to work for it. They love the challenge. Hard to get works. I've been told this and it's been shown too many times...

Nothing wrong with being wined and dined and I agree that most men love the chase. I just hate when guys lump all women into this..."they're only after my money bit". It gets old.

The women admit they like to be wined and dined, nothing wrong with that. I like to show a woman a good time and enjoy seeing them happy and enjoying themselves, but when you get no reward after constantly doing that it gets old and a waste of money, to many girls play games.

I agree not all women are in it just for the money, but l know plenty of guys who's wifes are money hungry and spend their money faster then they make it, then complain and threaten the relationship when their is no money to spend.

In the end it seems like Woman want compensation for giving you their time when it comes time to break up/divorce, they cant just say "okay it was good, but time to move on", no they want compensation for giving you their time i seems like. I hate when women hangout with their friends during a divorce and the friends say "take him for everything he's got, you deserve it, after everything you put up with" and so on. No offense to women, l love wome, but men get that taste in their mouths sometimes and they feel like they are paying for a relationship.

That goes both ways. No easier way to get a woman to change her mind about offering up a "challenge" than countering with the same. Tell a woman they can't have something they want and it's GAME ON! :lol

:lecture Well spoken and agreed on all counts.

You have to ask yourself what it is you want from the relationship. You want to get laid, or do you want to spend time with this person and enjoy her company? What exactly is the reward you're looking for?

I agree not all women are in it just for the money, but l know plenty of guys who's wifes are money hungry and spend their money faster then they make it, then complain and threaten the relationship when their is no money to spend.

A lot of people in general are money hungry. I know several guys who are living paycheck to paycheck because they're always blowing their money big ticket things.

Sometimes it isn't as easy as "time to move on". Unless you've kept every single thing seperate, you have to figure out who gets what, etc.

I know just as many "horror stories" on divorce myself, and it's not always the woman who wins in the end.

I think you watch too many tv dramas.

When l say "wining and dining and the reward", the reward l am looking for is a relationship or a clear motive on both our parts. will the dining end up with a one night stand or build a relationship. Women can play games and not be clear on what they want, intend or what there motves are. A guy doesn't take a girl out to a nice restaurant just to be nice or as friends (unless it is 100% agreed you are just good friends) other then that he is looking for a relationship or what ever. What ever it is, it involves being more then just friends, and sometimes woman can make that a little difficult to determine what she is thinking on the other end.

Well l don't watch TV dramas. All the stories l know are the women benefiting in the end. You have to admit men don't win that often, at least l don't know any guy who said he came out better then her in the end. My dad for instance doesn't like his wife. He can't devorce her because she will take him for everythng, even though he paid for the house, pretty muh everything in it, he would have to give her half of EVERYTHING he has. His clasic car, the boat, his two campers, quads, the lake lot, All that adds up to a mass amount of money and she's crazy and doesn't deserve any of it.

I don't think l would like to get married, they never last these days and l aint givng half my stuff to her in the end. l think if receipts are kept through out the marriage that should determan who gets what. If the husband paid for the house it's his, if the wife paid the the living room set it's hers and so on.

Sadly I am all too aware that any woman who has even shown an interest has not been motivated by my income.

"I met this guy the other night and guess what girls... he's a teacher! Ka-ching!"

But sometimes it takes a while to get to know somebody, to decide if I want to give them my heart... or my body.
I think that by women being so damn easy these days and just 'hooking up', it's ruined those of us looking for more. Hell, it used to be a man would have to wait months or, God forbid, until his wedding night to get into a woman's panties. Now, after three dates the guy applies pressure. Sorry, but that's not right.

l am the same as you, l don't really want a one night stand, or sex on the first few dates, but if l am going to spend money taking a girl out l want it to lead somewhere, which would be a relationship, doesn't mean sex right now, just as long as we are building something and moving a head with a relationship, if not then l say it is a waste of money if it won't go anywhere. I actually like the idea of no sex for a while, that way you earn it more, and it will be better when it does happen.

Things aren't always as cut and dry as you're trying to make them seem. How can you know if there is something in a relationship unless you're willing to spend some money by going out? And as far as who gets what in a divorce. Very few households get by anymore on just a husbands paycheck. For those that do, the wife is usually providing a clean house, a hot meal on the table, and raising kids. Mileage may vary on that though.

California is a "no fault" state so a large chunk of the post you quoted is irrelevant. :lol

You can tell after taking a girl out a 2-3 times whether there is something there or not, if not then continuing to take her out and pay is then waste of money for the most part. If l like her and she likes me then l will gladly pay and make her happy and see her smile, but if its getting to the point where she only interacts with me or acts happy or engaging is after l spend money on her, then that is a girls l don't want to be with or waste more money on.

Haven't you heard? Teachers these days are rolling in dough and have it made. You're overpaid and don't do a thing.

Shame on you for wanting to get paid!

:D

Yup, now guys expect sex by the third date or something is wrong with the woman. It used to be dating.....or courting, was for getting to know that person. How much can you know about someone on three dates?
